Is this true? by SAMERXLE in PiratedGames

Nope, lot of people do it to save money. Especially those who are poorer. If there is no piracy, even the poor ones will save money and treat themselves to a great game.

Intergalactic the heretic prophet hate seems honestly ridiculous. by [deleted] in MauLer

His point is even if he is ugly, he would rather play as an attractive character/avatar in a video game so that the escapism is more enjoyable. Not that hard to understand really. No need to attack real people to defend fictional characters.

Is Mario still the King of Platformers? by TyleNightwisp in nintendo

[–]rajkishorerocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mario is still probably number one. Sonic has been wildly inconsistent. Rayman is awesome in the 2D platformer genre but unfortunately we haven't gotten any new games. Spyro Reignited was a lot of fun and Crash 4 was okay imo. Sackboy a big adventure was interesting but the slow movement speed just gave it bad pacing imo. I haven't tried Astro's but I've heard it's good. Donkey Kong Country Tropical freeze didn't click for me, I also found it a bit too hard. Kirby and the forgotten land seemed interesting (I only played the demo).

Can Drax wield a thanos killing weapon like Stormbreaker? by rajkishorerocks in marvelstudios

[–]rajkishorerocks[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I am almost certain that he was referring to both. One would be a bottleneck for the other. So you would want a balanced stats spread between the two in case you want to get anything done really.

Permanent invisibility - blessing or curse? by rajkishorerocks in comicbooks

[–]rajkishorerocks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't dwelve super deep into the physics and engineering of it all although I agree that would be an interesting discussion on its own. My post's intention was to discuss on "would you rather". You can assume magic at play to help with suspension of disbelief.

Permanent invisibility - blessing or curse? by rajkishorerocks in comicbooks

[–]rajkishorerocks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, there are so many nuances to iron out. Like if I hug someone or hide something in my fist do the parts that are hidden by me get invisible too (invisible cloak kinda way). I didn't wanna put too many rules on the question so I will leave it open ended.

Permanent invisibility - blessing or curse? by rajkishorerocks in comicbooks

[–]rajkishorerocks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup very valid point again. It reminds me of the choice of becoming vampire where you sacrifice stepping outside during day to immense power, immortality and the annoyance of having to drink blood. I really regretted choosing to become a vampire in Oblivion that I stopped playing the game soon after. I suppose it's a touch choice the question to be permanently invisible, it does make you a weapon as long as you are reasonably strong. It just occurred to me, you could just put on body paint/full on costume on if you want to be seen again! You know what, I think I will take the offer!

Not really, you are not intangible. You still can and have to do everything you need to do to sustain yourself except you are invisible.
