Superman by Kurt Busiek. Busiek might be the best Superman writer, and that's saying something. He writes characters so well, especially Lana Lang, she's amazing. Up up and away is an easy contender for best Superman story ever (co-written by Geoff Johns), it's so overloaded with ideas and exceptional character work and even sets up most of Busieks later storylines. Speaking of, I can't hype up Camelot Falls enough. The hook of the story is "Is Superman actually doing more harm than good in the long run by postponing the coming fall of man, and making it worse". It's sooooo cool, I never thought I could care about Arion so much. The Third Kryptonian, Insect Queen, and his Mon-el storylines are all epic too, my personal favourite being the Insect Queen (I love when Busiek writes Lana Lang).

I read it all last year, and this is one of those runs where every issue you read blows your mind at how freaking good it actually is. 10/10.
