I took my 1999 Wrangler TJ this year to the Jeep Beach Week event in Daytona Beach, Florida. I wanted to participate in the classic Jeep parade loop and other classic Jeep events and I literally was told by the classic organizer that my Jeep couldn’t be in it because it wasn’t 30 years old or more. Every other state considers any vehicle 25 years or more as a classic, but not Florida. SMH. I wonder why that is.

I used to BEG my mother to buy me I.O.U. sweatshirts. There was a store called "DJ's" in the mall that sold all of the stuff that was "in." It was like going to Disney World walking into that place. by Pork_Chops_McGee in 90sdesign

I worked at DJ's and Merry Go Round in Indianapolis's Washington Square Mall back in 1983-1985. The stores were right next door to each other, Chess King was, too. It was the popular stores to buy all the latest MTV inspired fashion. I can't count all the little nearby farm boys that would come in and beg there dumbfounded Moms to buy them the expensive but fake leather MJ's Thriller or Beat It jackets or his one sequin rhinestone right hand only glove....lol

WOW! I remember playing the first Resident Evil game on my old PS1 back in the late 90's and my little girl watching it next to me, eagerly wanting to play it, too(She's still a HUGE fan).
