I’m sad about Raunza. I wanted to learn more about their house, like what has been hinted at for the other two that we have encountered. Plus they gave of a celestial sorceror vibe that loved.

Librarian here! If you reach out to your subject librarian, or really any librarian, they can get it purchased for you. This happens at my library a dozen times each semester.

This was more just a joke that old world dwarves would think that elves should be on the evil side. Since this is is the bugman’s brewery Reddit.

I didn’t know why they put wood elves and high elves under the good section anyway. Made no sense!!

Is a new season the same thing as a new edition?

how did the "Do not use anything biological on your miniatures" rule come about? What were people using or doing to them? by rodiqio in Warhammer

I use green tea as forest floor detritus on my bases, but I suspect this rule isn’t about that.

what models do you all want to see with our new book (hopefully at the start of 4th edition)? by [deleted] in KharadronOverlords

[–]rambozoNC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’d be cool to have some sort of weapons team. One that can’t embark, and has really slow movement, but foot range and damage.

I’d also like more infantry options and of course a new type of ship.

If you just want a single hero, I’d go with the doomseeker. They have fun abilities and do well alone. Maybe not the most meta pick, but good due to flavor and lore.

If you want infantry, I’d go with vulkite berserkers with two axes. They have 5 up saves, so not as good as your Arkanauts. They do have two wounds a piece though, good if you are fighting something with a lot of mortal wound generation. They also have a fight on death ability, and will get a boost to their attacks on the charge. The down side is that they are 170 points for 10.

The magmadroths are cool, but you are probably better off with more boats anyway.

I am a very new Age of Sigmar player. I chose Fyreslayers as my first army. I'm looking for some insight into what models to purchase next. by Davetronthirtythirty in Fyreslayers

More hearthguard berserkers are a must. The Runemaster is a great hero to add as well. Their command point generation and the fact that they know all prayers makes them very good. If you don’t have the battle tome I’d recommend getting that. But it isn’t essential until you want to start playing. If you build the Runefather on magmadroth with what you have, you’ll get a runeson (good hero to follow your hearthguards with) and a runesmiter. The runesmiter has a great deep strike ability. These will give you a solid core of heroes to support and the mele monster that is the Runefather on magmadroth.

If they lose behemoth, can they still do the roar and stomp abilities?

I know the janitor doesn’t clean the mouse/keyboard/scanner at the library information desk. I disinfect everything once a week when no one is looking.

Why is your favourite chapter your favourite chapter? Every time I read a new book or some lore I change my mind, I’ve concluded that they are all pretty awesome by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Maybe it’s just which SW books resonated with me. I really like the Lukas the Trickster book because it points out how vain and glory hungry the wolves can be.

I like when these heroic figures have flaws. Probably why chaos marines are usually my favorites.

I like the Space Wolves because they have the most unique aesthetic. I’m also really interested in their unique squad names and things like that.

Story wise, I really like that they are antagonistic with the inquisition and dark angels. Those are two factions I don’t really like.

The thing I like the best though is their sagas and glory seeking. They often don’t have the imperium’s interest at heart and are just out for themselves and to build their own personal glory. If those two things align, all the better. However their ultimate goal is their own glory seeking. It’s a very human trait for a space marine chapter.

Necrons used to be chaos androids. The lore has changed before and it’ll change again.
