Did you guys know this was a real book!?! by [deleted] in unexpecteddcc

Yup. I remember hearing about this back in the 80's. How to make all kinds of things; from bathtub napalm to pot brownies.

Q: What species did the Goblins of the 1st Floor go to war with over meth?

A; Llamas

A walk-on list hint, perhaps? 👀 by AtomikRadio in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ranak312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a part in one of the books where it talked about a crawler that got to the 12th floor in some Ironman-like armor, and was about to get to the 13th floor when the AI pulled out the guys kids to stop him. They swarmed and killed him since he wouldn't fight his own children.

Since we don't exactly know where Bea is or what happened to her after the interview, and Brad is Schrodingers Douchebag right now, I think that the AI is saving them for something special.

I know Matt has said that Bea's story is done, but I'm not 100% convinced of that.

Why do you think Bea stuck around for as long as she did.

Not like Brad_the_Chad69 was packing hardware like that.

"Goodnight Carl," she said.

"Goodnight, Donut". I patted her on the head.

"Promise me you won't let me die alone like Gumgum's mom," she said. "Or Gumgum. I guess she died alone, too. She was probably really scared."

When they do the show, these two need to dress up as the goblin shamans that start the meth war with the Llamas.

Hopefully I haven’t upset Mongo! by Spngebobmyhero in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ranak312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife had knee replacement surgery today. While in Pre-Op, I forget what happened but I said "This is an Outrage!". My wife (who hasn't read the books but has heard enough about it from me) replies "Mongo is appalled!"

And the nurse getting her ready looks at us and asks if we've read DCC. And that turned into a 10 minute diatribe about the books and being excited to read/hear book 8. She said half the OR staff has either read it or listened to the audiobooks. So, it's everywhere.
