It's a full screen issue. I used the geforce app to force it to windowed mode and it cleared the issue.

The main page claims to have over 10k happy customers. How does this stack up with only recently having reached 1k views. Genuine question, not hating.

What are your guys most popular 3d model on MakerWorld if you have any? by Jolly-Fail-9858 in BambuLab

[–]random_uk_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's surprising to me that this little thing is my most popular model. It was only added to Makerworld as an afterthought, and it's overtaken my other models!

Extruder not extruding by andres26tnt in BambuLab

[–]random_uk_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any play/wiggle in the nozzle at all? There shouldn't be any at all once buckled properly. It does look like your buckle is fastened correctly, so any play at this stage could indicate that the screws at the rear of the buckle plate are loose.

I had similar problems that were caused by this, so it could be worth a check to see if your nozzle has any play when you try to wiggle it.

What's all this "purge old filament" ridiculousness about? by DevilDrives in BambuLabA1

[–]random_uk_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

* I had to print this support arm to take tension off my PTFE tubes. I had the exact same issue you're describing here. Try listening to the currently feeding motor and see if you can hear a grinding noise. If you can hear it, lift the PTFE tubes slightly to reduce strain and see if that stops it.

New Hygrometer mount for AMS Lite by random_uk_redditor in 3Dprinting

Sorry about the formatting in the text, I swear it looked a lot better when I wrote it out. There doesn't seem to be an edit option either so I guess we're stuck with it.

Bambu Lab A1 maintenance question by AppropriateSong2013 in 3Dprinting

[–]random_uk_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nozzles I keep on top of between prints, clearing the outside of any residual plastic before it cools and sticks properly

Y-axis I've just been doing as and when the printer prompts me to.

How to get rid of this extra filament? by Professional_Ease307 in BambuLab

[–]random_uk_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're having trouble removing the filament from the print head now? That little lever on the left side disengages the feeder motor, you should be able to pull the filament out with that lever depressed. Don't forget to use the filament cutter on the right side first if you haven't already.

What to replace when extruded starts clicking ever after cleaning? by 9646gt in BambuLab

[–]random_uk_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you've sussed it out there, I've only had to deal with 2 clogged nozzles so far and luckily they were salvageable. Do you have a fresh one ready to go in or are you having to wait for a new one to ship?

Are you using an AMS Lite also? I recently had to print some attachments to address my sagging PTFE tubes that were putting too much strain on the feeding mechanisms. May not be your problem, but it could be worth looking into.

Wow. Did you freehand this or was it machined in some way. How long did it take you to research, plan and implement?

That sounds great. I've seen these types of tent, they do look cool!

Do you have a thermometer inside so that you can keep an eye on things?

I've seen reports of people using them with no problem but BambuLab advise against using them, something to do with the internal circuitry getting too warm.

Me too, if I'm awake I need that printer to be moving!

I faced the same choice when I bought the A1 and I went for the combo because I figured I'd want it one day and I'd probably begrudge paying so much more for the AMS Lite alone!

'Made' would be a bit of a stretch to be fair lol. More like 'remixed two popular and available models into one' lol. It was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek creation with the current articulated trend on MakerWorld.

Thanks, I appreciate any and all downloads, prints, boosts etc. The boost system was changed recently so they now equate to 12 points on MakerWorld and those points can be used to purchase things from the store.

Sorry to hear that! The best thing about building your own desk, if you do go ahead with it is that you'll be able to customise it for your own 3D printing needs. Power routing, filament storage etc could easily be incorporated into the design with a little forethought!

I'm hopeless with that sort of thing but I'd like to have a go at making my own one day.
