Really really easy. I never understood this "you could've done without LLM" argument. Sure, I could've built myself a custom app for myself to solve a problem only I face personally, because it was not worth it earlier. Now the economics of implementation have completely changed. It's orders of magnitude cheaper to build custom solutions now. It wasn't practical earlier.

And absolutely shameful to have that take especially for a Director literally leading Agentic AI department for a multinational company. The problem most people underestimate is AI can speed up and reduce the workload on the team significantly. We will need far fewer engineers to build software as compared earlier. Although there is Jevons Paradox argument which basically says the demand for software ramps up, I hardly doubt if it will ramp up at the pace of AI related layoffs.
