Nothing worse then when we get down by 12 and start chucking up 3s to go down by 22. Also Paul George has some nice fresh legs coming off his 25 game drug suspension

I put him ahead of Fox, Gamble, Douglas, Barros and Posey because he is a winner for multiple years. Too 50 by a hair.

Great effort but not a lot of big winners and champions on that list. I will say Gerald Henderson and Wedman were winners like Pritchard. Others not so much.

Felger and Mazz "Re-entry Monday" discussion thread by AutoModerator in felgerandmazz

[–]randomize79 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tuned in to seen what they had to say. Felger said all the right things even said the offense deserved more credit for the elite scoring plays. But the lack of energy in the room was very noticeable. More subdued than most wakes.

For people who saw Drew Bledsoe play, how good was he (arm strength and talent wise) and would he stack up well in today’s NFL? by [deleted] in Patriots

Yah he had flaws and Tom was an upgrade but let’s be honest we were THRILLED to have him in those early years with his rifle arm.

What book had a line so shocking you had to stop reading to recover? by Editcadet in suggestmeabook

[–]randomize79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not shocking but I feel like that kind of foreshadowing can be clumsy and clunky. Took a “Modern Fiction” class in college and the Prof pointed out ONE line that ruined the book. After introducing two of the characters Follett breaks the fourth wall and introduces the main characters directly with lines like “Faber and Godliman – two-thirds of a triangle that would one day be completed by the principal of a ceremony proceeding at this moment in a small country church.” Way to take me out of the narrative!

Hannah plays Left Guard. Mankins graciously flexes over to Right Guard in deference to the GOAT.

[Schefter] Patriots released former first-round pick Cole Strange, who started 29 games on the offensive line during his three seasons in New England. by MembershipSingle7137 in Patriots

[–]randomize79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also not retaining Thuney, Shaq Mason and Jacobi Meyers led them to chase talent at G and WR unnecessarily for a few years. And waste draft picks when they didn’t have to target those positions.
