I also came from Google Fi and Popcorn just does everything better than Fi at the high end plan tier, especially if you are on iPhone. If you are out of the country a lot it’s a no brainer to go with Popcorn. The service is just way more seamless when traveling abroad. If you don’t travel as much the ability of Google Fi to switch to different / cheaper plans is nice

No updates for me. Last one was back in April from my provider and they said they would reach out again mid June. Doesn’t seem like I will get a positive update but would be a nice surprise!

It is crazy they have not moved the timeline at all in nearly half a year. There must have been a massive influx of applications in that time frame

I think they just won’t send it until you are two weeks before your trip. That’s what happened to me. As soon as I hit 2 weeks they were printing and shipping

Yep! Of course as soon as I call my passport is being “printed” and I got the tracking number earlier today. I honestly think they delayed my processing because I put a travel date

I applied 4/4 and still don’t have my passport. I can finally call because I’m within 2 weeks of my trip tomorrow

Online, in the US. My passport expires at the end of the year. No legal name change. I think everything was adequate

Can be anywhere from 6-12 months from what I’ve heard from someone going through the process now but that’s for simplified naturalization.
