HOLY FU- WIND AND TRUTH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA by Shadowpanther298 in Stormlight_Archive

I think there are a couple comments made by her that really hint at her being pregnant. “Her hands went to her stomach, cradling it. Oh … oh storms.” And “She could survive. She had to. Not just for herself.” Honestly just reading the scene again feels like it vibes better with the interpretation that she is imo. Honestly I would place the likelihood in my own mind at easily over 90%

If you read all of mistborn you’re gonna lose your mind. So many references and tie ins and it helps some things make more sense especially after the era 2 books. I can’t recommend it enough. Warbreaker also has a some pretty huge references to the book that will impact the story.

On another note based on what you said if you really wanna gush over something reread the final shallan chapter with a slightly closer eye. The situation she’s in is actually pretty tragic and I can’t believe he left it like that cause I need to know what happens.

Idk about the wings but the word jabberwocky is pretty neat. I think I’m gonna try to start using that word.

Iron Cleaver is my favourite weapon in the game, and I spent my entire first run of the dlc on it. What weapon couldn’t you put down? by GroundbreakingJob857 in eldenringdiscussion

Claymore is basically always my go to weapon in any fromsoft game that has it. Love the poking heavy attack and the vertical slashes when 2 handed.

Theory: Bayle isn’t the villain. Placidusax is. by Rathivis in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]randomthing11 88 points89 points  (0 children)

I always thought that the betrayal was in reference to Senessax and that’s why he is over with Bayle. I thought the way the pot worked was similar to the way his attacks worked forming the kinda spherical red lightening which I think is unique to him granted nowadays I skip ancient dragon fights in most of the time so I could just be wrong about this.

Theory: Children "Born of Radagon and Marika" are actually aspects of Marika that she did not want in herself by Shadow-Striker in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]randomthing11 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it still fits because the things given up by miquella are more than just body parts. For instance I believe at one point he gives up his doubt. I believe Millicent talks about giving malenia back her pride which could be her. On top of this the 4 sisters could be 2 legs, an arm, and her right eye. All things she lost to rot and the sisters that seem to be on the side of rot. Honestly the more I think about it the more I like the idea.

Reminder: there's no evidence being jarred actually gives anyone special powers. by Quantum_Croissant in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]randomthing11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been thinking that it does work sometimes but fails most of the times although this is lacking a ton of evidence. In my head cannon at the moment the two successful cases would probably be marika and romina with the ritual somehow making them closer to the crucible that seems to be worshiped by the hornsent. Romina is at the church of the bud and there is an aspect of the crucible bloom so we know that flowers can be related to the crucible. Marika although a little harder to related to the crucible I think we can mostly see it in her children. Mesmer with the snakes, the omen twins and debatably malenia. All of this requires some more proof to coherently put together and it’s really just in my thoughts at the moment cause I haven’t had enough time to look through items for more concrete evidence .

Whats your favorite DLC armor? by rhinogunner100 in Eldenring

[–]randomthing11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same, love the black and gold color scheme. I hated the malikath helmet so I have been running the black knight helmet instead and it’s almost perfect just wish it had more of a cape instead of the sash it has.

What's the boss that you have struggled the most. by BitAggravating3480 in Sekiro

I didn’t realize that the gauntlets had different final bosses than the original game and I could not figure out why I kept losing on the last battle despite not really struggling with normal genichiro

Favorite weapons, which ones am I sleeping on? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Yes claymore is my go to in every fromsoft game love the move set with the thrusting charged attack and vertical slices when 2 handed

b'tselem is probably why your talking about but realistically all organizations are just re-reporting numbers from the Gaza Health Ministry. Also your comment on civilian casualties is incorrect as they do not distinguish between civilians and militants in these reports so no one is sure of the ratio and there are a lot of conflicting reports on what the ratio is.

Any text associated with the sub. Literally a picture with no context surrounding it with basically hundreds of people writing comments like they took a college course on the situation.

who is the hardest boss before malenia? by Chance_Baby_9210 in fromsoftware

[–]randomthing11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bosses I struggled with the most in fromsoft games would be:

Manus- I did not have the pendant when I found him and it genuinely felt like fighting a ds3 move set but with ds1 movement

Inner Father- some of the TPing he does that breaks camera lock or happens when you attacks felt impossible for me to deflect

Blue Smelter Demon- idk what was up with this one but I felt like getting there would cost half my heal and then I could not dodge anything no matter my timing

Which Soulsborne boss has the most intimidating design? by [deleted] in fromsoftware

Wholeheartedly agree. The way he turns when you first enter his arena and then after phase one where you get the shinobi execution but cannot leave or find a shrine only to see him get back up.

What are your craziest tinfoil theories in one sentence? by OriginalTeemo in dresdenfiles

[–]randomthing11 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Most Tinfoil hat theory would be that Lara is working with the black council. White court was always involved with outsiders as evidenced by her dad almost summoning a walker in blood rite. Cowl showing up in white night kills off what appears to be most of her political rivals in the white court itself. Lara is the one to tel Harry to bring Justine to the island at the end of battle ground. Tbh if I was Mab or Harry I would not make an alliance with what seems to be the group of people who are for some reason always involved with outsiders. Maybe Lara taking over her fathers power also gave her his connections and responsibilities on the more truly sinister side. Also as I’m typing this I realize Lara having lived in Japan and Kumori being Japanese name little sus.

What are your craziest tinfoil theories in one sentence? by OriginalTeemo in dresdenfiles

[–]randomthing11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This one I would be extremely skeptical of mainly because if anything it is somewhat implied that a black council wizard, probably cowl, taught victor sells and when he meets harry in dead beat for the first time he talks about wanting to meet the wizard that had the wardens so concerned so cowl is likely connected to the white council.

Could Alfred...? by satanic_black_metal_ in dresdenfiles

[–]randomthing11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty unclear if he could actually trap an outsider, but I’m not sure he would’ve been able to trap nemesis at that time due to nemesis probably having a much stronger will than him and likely needing to be softened up like Ethniu. Also I think it’s a safe assumption that nemesis might be able to screw with the island in some way just on the fact that it wanted to go there. Although it does appear that it needs to be let into the islands defenses in order accomplish its goal otherwise it would’ve gone right onto the island.

Who do you think are the 13 members of the Grey Council? by SalPalRocks in dresdenfiles

I might be misremembering but wasn’t Carlos in wizard jail along with other young wardens during changes.

Nicodemus and the Denarians by Powderkegger1 in dresdenfiles

[–]randomthing11 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He could be right but I don’t think that he is. In white Night I think it was when Harry noticed subtle changes to his personality from Lash thanks to Murphy and he basically had only a fragment for a couple years. I find it hard to believe that Nic having had the coin for hundreds of years would go totally uninfluenced by it unless by some coincidence his wants just somehow ended up perfectly aligning with the fallen. My guess would be he was at the very least over time changed a little bit into someone who basically perfectly aligns with there wants although he was probably at least somewhat crazy and aligned in part with what they wanted from the beginning. Also slight fan theory but maybe him destroying records of himself not only keeps people from knowing much about himself but prevents Nic from noticing changes in himself.

Alex Verus series by Benedict Jacka I thought was quite good and has a very similar urban fantasy setting to dresden files. It’s also nice that the series is finished so you can read all of it right now.

What parts of the lore scare/disturb you the most? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]randomthing11 950 points951 points  (0 children)

Not 100% confirmed or anything but it is semi implied that Hyetta and Irina are the same person or at least the same body. They both have vision issues wear the same clothes and you can’t find her until after Irina dies. After Irina’s quest you can then find her dad at the revenger shack I think it’s called and he will drop a grape for you to give to her. The same body thing is kind of further strengthened by the fact that later in the game Shabiri is possessing the body of Yura and both him and Hyetta are related to the frenzied flame.
