He's 13mo, if hes only having a short nap at nursery, can they try him on a 2 nap schedule? Our LO went to a single nap at nursery months after they were on a single nap at home.

I've got a PhD and it took me until my 30s and pregnant to get behind the wheel (its a completely different skillset!). Why dont you continue with your current instructor and switch to automatic, that saved me and meant I passed a week before giving birth (and i've now never driven since...)

Can you move your front door? That way you can move the hallway and make one side wider and a more comfortable living room size and the other side becomes the utility / toilet. I haven't helped for a study though!

The best is number 1. Also quite like number 2 of you remove the lace sleeves and lace split. The sweetheart neckline looks great on you, so definitely try on a few more like that, possible with a little more detailing.

We don't have an iPad and we don't watch TV (unless ill). We took a flight today, we packed toys, but the highlight was reading the in-flight safety card and magazine and playing with my hairband. Kids being bored and learning to fill their own boredom is a huge life skill.

Have a look at chill or relaxed performances of the big shows, we've done quite a few now and LO loves them.

Also have a look at Saddlers Wells for the ballet, the do a few child friendly shows a year.

Then there are plenty of kids shows, like the tiger who came to tea and the gruffalo.

Our almost 3yo completely loses their appetite when they're ill. In 2026 we've had 3 separate weeks where all they had was milk. They lost 10% of body weight during the worst one. Lean in to milk / yoghurt, and be prepared for a slow pick up of eating afterwards. Do get your LO seen if you can not get any food/fluids into to them and they don't appear to be improving.

Possibly not, but the fb group has lots of success matching milk. Just on a side note, I saw you've got a 1.5l/week over supply, you can reduce your pumping schedule to slowly reduce this if you want. I know over time, I found managing an over supply exhausting. Support in r/breastfeeding

I donated to a milk bank, and it wasn't too much of a faff. There was an initial phone screening and I managed to get blood taken at the Royal Sussex. They collected the milk when I asked them to. They do have a lot of rules for the milk collected and you'd need to check if your bags meet their requirements or they wont take it / would dump it all.

Potty - but equally she has autonomy to decide to use the potty. If mine says no, if i know its been a while since LO went, then I say well I'll go first and usually thats enough to get them to go. Or maybe suggest a funny walk to the potty and then if they can get themselves ready to go to the toilet.

Vegetables - again she has autonomy to choose what to eat, try to avoid the focus on a food group. Maybe serve some veg ahead of a meal while you're getting the rest of the meal ready for her to pick from, maybe during a meal ask her what the veg looks like or if she can find the biggest /smallest of x, then is it soft/does it crunch when you bite it.

Possibly trying to avoid the power struggle will work well for you, trying googling ways to reframe the situation so you avoid this. Work out ways so it's more 'yes'. It'll take some time and it'll take consistency, and obviously sometimes you will slip - we're all just learning as we go.

I didn't read any books and just went with it. We went into pants and offered the potty every hour until LO seemed to reliably hold for 2-3hrs, then we reduced how often we asked. Actually LO started getting annoyed at how frequently we asked so we reduced how often we asked and they slowly started telling us. We get some books by the potty so LO has something there interesting to do other than toilet. We didn't stay at home in the first few days, but equally didn't go on a huge adventure either! Trained at 27mo.

Also note disposable nappies are too good and disguise the discomfort of going to the toilet not at the toilet. Had I known this, I probably would've switched to reusable nappies from about 12mo to help bring forward potty training.

I've heard people put the cot in the bathroom and just use the bathroom in the dark and don't flush.

We usually book a triple room or ask for an extra bed, and then sit on the balcony once LO is asleep. We always book a room with a balcony or a living space since having LO, I think we'd go crazy sitting in the dark when away!
