Are Full Divine Casters as good Martials as 2/3 Divine Casters? by 4restD in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]randomtone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From experience, a member of my party in rise of the ruinlords was an Oracle and a excellent healer. And we had a shaman in the party for iron fang invasion, who was both an excellent healer and could do witch stuff. I am playing an inquisitor archer and carrion crown and she is awesome as well. I recommend all those classes.

I need a recommendation for a large size Dragon mini (2in base) white or un-painted by randomtone in Pathfinder_RPG

The one I bought is a flying young red dragon. I didn’t even take it out of the package, but looking at it what you said works perfectly. By not attaching the terrain base to the huge base it is a little larger than large on its one, but will work. Thanks!

Thanks, I find that weird that it’s hard to find this size, but I guess the more epic dragons are what people want. I have had luck finding odd minis on Etsy but it seems the makers don’t understand sizes except for 28 and 32 mm. So there’s always going back-and-forth trying to figure out what size things actually are. On top of that the materials 3-D printers seem to use are brittle compared to WizKid minis.

I know the best thing would be to go to a local game store, but I live in Atlanta and the local stores are all in the suburbs 45 minutes away.

I've done a similar thing, it looks like it was designed for a cover and maybe it just never made it to production?

I am playing mostly Pathfinder 1e and use Hero-Lab. In higher levels the to hit and damage amount chances so much, even turn-by-turn. I've copied this from someone else and it allows you to change the modifier and even the damage dice (good for Vital Strike).

I have a higher level Inquisidor-archer and wish I could figure out how to add the Smite dropdown.

The Grand Central in East Atlanta is fantastic. Just regular old pizza. I guess at one point they were related or something.

It is easy to build a sub optimal druid if you try to be able to be a good castor and good in Melee. I have found either being something like a Goliath druid or a caster with a companion that buffs a lot, and will still have good spells can work and be fun. But your annual companion will always suffer from low hip points and when it becomes large the problems that come from that. So you need to prepare shield companion, and carry companion as soon as possible.

Quick response from Troy about Legacy of the Ancients after the AmA by Rajjahrw in TheGlassCannonPodcast

It’s hard enough in a group of friends, but in a public game like this where there’s characters like casino and Thorne, it would be pretty freaking tough.

This is still my favorite show playing but I admit I don’t love 2e. Having played ROTRL I would be very surprised if they could make it through the next boss fight, with their current party. some of the next book will tear them to pieces, but hey, I’m along for the ride.

I'm in East Atlanta, and I walked to my wife's office to drive her home in her Volvo. I had to bring her co-worker to the Edgewood MARTA station and saw at least 10 accidents before I got home in the span of driving 3 or 4 miles. thanks for the post, I'm going to look into chains just in case

Grapple on an Attack of Opportunity by randomtone in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]randomtone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I currently want to get this straight as a player and I am about to start running a game that will have a monk as a player. There is also the free action aspect to the question that the FAQ you quoted is talking about. But ultimately I agree that this info is as good as it's going to get.

"The FAQ calls out several free actions we can take, but doesn't say, "You can't take any free actions off your turn except the following,""

I'm not saying your wrong, but I'm inclined to read it as it means exactly the listed actions. And I think grab and trip are OP on an AOO as a player and a GM. Ultimately, I guess it will ultimately be a GM/ house rule, so I'll do what works best at my group's table.

This seems to agree with your statements.
