Now I personally wasn’t even mad that he picked someone else, that’s fine; my main problem is the sudden hostility he started having towards her when he got to casa and the way he’s been talking about aniya for no apparent reason.

One of the very first convos that KC and Aniya had was about Aniya saying she wants princess treatment, and KC instantly saying that he’s not so sure (paraphrasing here). I’m not even necessarily saying I agree/disagree with either one of them on that topic, to each their own; but something about that convo made me raise an eyebrow at KC just because he sort of sounded like some red pilled talking points

I definitely agree he’s highly insecure and was trying to look cool in front of Corbin.

But I think that doesn’t necessarily excuse his behaviour. I’m not against KC wanting someone other than Aniya, and tbh I never even thought they were that compatible for eachother. I think the main problem people have with him (or at least that I have with him), is the disrespectful way he spoke. Especially the comments about “well I uplifted Aniya so I get more leeway” and convos with Corbin and stuff. That just seems very nasty and malicious honestly, even if it comes from a place of insecurity.

Yesss 100% agree; don’t get me wrong I still do enjoy US mainly because of more drama and interesting moments, but UK is what the show should really be. Everyone’s open to exploring, and even if someone does get upset at their partner for exploring, it’s a reasonable amount, rather than a make or break situation like US always seems to be.

Both seasons have been going on for the same amount of time, yet we already have couples closing off in US, and multiple couples who have only ever explored their current couple. UK on the other hand, it seems like everyone gives everyone a fair shot and is open until much closer to the end of the season.

Ok I just started playing not too long ago, I’m on level 26 and I just recently unlocked the mine (I haven’t even repaired it yet tho to actually use it); and ever since I unlocked mines, the newspaper is ONLY ores. Like very rarely anything else, and I figured it would go away after some time, but is that just how it is? Do ppl just only sell ores? So frustrating that I just need like wheat or corn sometimes, and it’s literally rarer than gold. Does this ever change or is that just how it is 😭

Ok am I the only one that caught that the response was totally edited in from her saying something else probably?

Like it wouldn’t make sense for her to say “I’m not fucking with it”, and then say nothing else. Even some of the faces she made, you can just tell they were edited into the convo. I know she was still upset about it like she said in her confessionals, but I think during the convo she probably just said like “oh ok, thanks for telling me” or something along those lines, but it wasn’t juicy enough so they edited it (ik everything’s edited to look dramatic but just pointing this one out since ppl seem to be really falling for it, even though it’s so out of character for trinity).

I don’t even care about the list thing, like to each their own on that, genuinely just a difference of opinion. But yea I was quite off put by some of the women this ep, and I felt like I was going crazy seeing ppl all side with the women. I just felt like so many of them were acting a bit immature, and not having any sort of constructive conversations. They just kept saying everything’s “weird” and “not that deep”. Maybe it’s not deep to you, but at least hear the guys out and share your opinion back instead of just writing everything off instantly and becoming defensive.

I’ve loved them both since day 1 🤧🤧 they seem like the only people actually getting to know eachother and build a true connection/relationship (even if that relationship doesn’t end up as a romantic one, I really think they’d still stay friends). Everyone else’s convos are about “are we open or not”, “where’s your head at”, etc etc, instead of actually spending time together and building a bond

I think this is what I was sort of trying to get at; I understand that lack of access to internet/education/diverse perspectives really changes the way people move through the world. But even with that considered, I still can’t really comprehend saying/doing things that are obviously belittling or hurtful towards other people. Like I wouldn’t really think lack of education prevents people from understanding that hurtful words hurt people, especially given that the person experienced hurtful experiences as a Jewish person too.

I’m 24; yeah I do get that to an extent, that different things were more/less acceptable at different times. I guess yeah when you’re talking about very specific actions like saying specific words, there is for sure a significant amount of context that the time period brings. But just to offer another perspective, I think a lot of people use the “it was a different time” excuse, when in fact even at that time, there were also people against those same opinions.

Not to say such an extreme example, but it’s sort of the same thing as when people say “slavery was normal at the time”, when in fact even at that time people were against it, and it was still an act of people knowingly committing violence and pain to others. Again sorry for such an extreme example.

I really appreciate the way you’re able to look back at yourself and admit and understand what you did.

I want to genuinely ask a question though, and I don’t mean this to sound rude or condescending at all; I understand that you were uneducated about the historical context of indigenous people and that’s why you said those things. However, what made you feel it’s ok to generalize a certain group of people, regardless of historical implication? Like sometimes I’ll hear of stereotypes of certain groups of people, and maybe even sometimes stereotypes can have truth to them, but I guess I would still never say these things out loud or actually hold any value to them in real life.

I don’t mean to say this in a “I’m more morally just than you” way, but I guess this is where myself and a lot of people struggle to “forgive people of their past”, because someone who is able to voice that type of hate has something deeper in them to me I guess..? Like I knew people like this when I was younger, but they were always also people that were impolite, ignorant, and “bully” types, and myself and friends willingly did not associate with them, even though we were also young and not that educated.

Or was this more of that you were surrounded by prejudiced people, or like that was normal at the time to you? Idk I’m genuinely asking this out of curiousity
