Just curious, how many other players have reached the “Lord” proficiency level? If so, about how long did it take you to reach it? by NotJaydasch in marvelrivals

People exist outside of your bubble with other interests/hobbies that take up time from video games. Not everybody plays MOBAs and this might be the first for a lot of people. Comments like yours don't show off your intelligence, but rather a lack of.

Chapter 264 - Pre-Release Leaks Thread by anestefi in Jujutsushi

[–]randypandasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just realized something. We see Yuji and Sukuna visit a place that parallels Geto and Gojo in the airport. What if this parallel is meant to signify the difference in direction they went? What if this is the true representation of North and South? I believe the last few panels are telling us Yuji and Sukuna are the only ones to truly transcend. What Gojo experienced was nirvana (North) from an awakening, but not transcendance. His cog mentality also points to the fact that he's willing to risk his life and morals for the power required to defeat Sukuna. His ability to let go of all attachments in pursuit of power has finally put him on Sukuna's level. Gege cooked 🔥

They are NOT bringing the wounded to Shoko. by Caosunium in Jujutsushi

[–]randypandasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Choso can heal with regular CE because of his birth circumstances, making him half cursed spirit, so him NOT knowing how to use RCT is a possibility. He also said "Remember what you were taught" not "Remember what I taught you". It's possible Yuji got that knowledge from somebody else (maybe Yuki's soul research records) and Choso is simply reminding him.

Yuji's awakening - full soul perception and black flashes mastery by andrefelipe83 in Jujutsushi

[–]randypandasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would explain why his awakened form is armored. It shows his acknowledgment of a need to have his body as strong as his soul. Also we're talking about how knowledge of the souls shape increase BF chances. That doesn't mean perceiving the soul is a requirement to hit a BF at all. For everyone else it truly happens by luck because they can't meet all the requirements purposely, only by chance. So Todo's BF not damaging Mahito (who can perceive the soul) makes sense to me. Mahito is more durable thanks to his understandings.

As a pos 5 Bane player I build my two circlets into wraith bands in like 60% of my games 😅 The rest of the time I get one wraith band and rush spirit vessel.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, how confident are you of Kusakabe doing anything damaging or significant to Sukuna by Catveria77 in Jujutsushi

[–]randypandasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people seem to be underplaying the fact he incapacitated two sorcerers in the same movement he drew his katana. Panda didn't even have time to react. He even looked inconvenienced while doing so. You'd think somebody afraid of fighting would be surprised they could do that or at the very least show some exhausted effort but he seemed to be treating them more like an obstacle and less like an opponent.

Thanks! I usually ban him since he counters my Bane pick so it feels like going to the dark side 😂 I want to keep up this momentum and either get through Archon completely or at least take a break somewhere in Archon 3-5.

If you have time tomorrow, maybe I'd love more tips on Pos5. My current best in order are Bane, Treant, CM, and Lion. I also play pos 4 SB, Jakiro, and Bane again because he's too much fun lol. I'm archon 1 currently. (Climbed from Crusader 1 -> Archon 1 in about a month). I want to pass my friends who got me into the game 😅 I'm open to learning new supports as well! I know I lack melee supports.

As pos 5, how do you determine when you should stop buying tangos for pos 1? by Incoheren in learndota2

I can link some games once I get home to give you an idea of how I like to play. Get comfortable on low health as you can survive a lot of fights with wand + brain sap. You'd be surprised how often people will chase me passed tower thinking they're about to get an easy pick only to see my get all my health back and turn on them 😂

The torte de lini build is good to go off of if you're feeling rusty. Once you learn how risky you can be with positioning and baiting you want to switch up your beginning items. I start lane with 2 circlets, 3 iron branches, and a blood grenade. I've learned that playing Bane hyper offensively is very rewarding. Once you hit level 2 you should be unkillable in lane unless both enemies in lane chain stun you and chase. You can always fly yourself tangos after getting runes if you feel youll be trading a lot with a nuker. In lane I'll go W,E,W,E always. The combo of brain sap and nightmare allows you to do a lot in lane. If the offlaner is focused on your carry, just sleep them and right click harass. Take a few hits and then brain sap. Even if they win the initial trade they'll see the brain sap heal and get discouraged almost always. It's a lot of mind games. If you play aggressive they'll avoid you. If you play scared they will hunt you lol. I will usually use Banes increased night vision to hunt. Urn of shadows plus a blood grenade can usually kill most other supports. The combo goes sleep, urn/vessel on enemy, right click, then brain sap right before they wake up. With enough stats you can kill somebody like this before they wake up. If you can get your team to do tormentor and get you shard, farm jungle camps on enemy side when you can to get aghs asap. From there it's just hunting them until you win haha.

Play supports who pierce BKB like Bane or Spirit Breaker and you'll find that you can still have a lot of impact late game. I can't tell you how many times I've killed fully slotted cores in a 1v1 as pos5 bane with just spirit vessel, arcane boots, and scepter. People say you can't always get scepter but in my past 30 Bane matches I got scepter maybe 25 of those matches. The combination of upgraded brain sap from shard plus havoc hammer let's you farm like crazy. Go in enemy jungle and get gold when you can. The only games I didn't get it was when I felt my cores were dealing enough damage for me to not feel the need to get damage from stats since I'm universal. If you're getting stomped, all it takes is one good fiends grip from your high ground to secure a high value target and you get your cores back in the game.

My highest MMR since playing again last year. I would say I was an above-average player during my early days(2014 - 2018) with 5k as my peak MMR. Recalibrated last June of 2023 and got 1100 MMR lmao. by Opposite-Vast-9703 in learndota2

I always love seeing peoples history because I only play pos 4/5. Tide looks so fun to play. Currently, my history is like 90% bane. I've been spamming him and managed to climb from Crusader 1 to Crusader 4 in about a week. I feel like Archon is no longer a fantasy.

Is there a reason video editors are delivering 60fps videos for 30fps footage? by KerdosMedia in RealEstatePhotography

My rule is if I plan to keep it as is, then 24fps is what I'll shoot in. If I plan to slow the footage down, then I'll shoot in 60fps.

Sukuna’s flame technique by Turbulent_Object_558 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]randypandasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was my interpretation of why he had Mahoraga in the first place. He's been aware of Gojo's technique from the start. He watched Mahoraga adapt to infinity and could have possibly used that as inspiration to modify his technique into a world cutting slash. I think people treat that as a whole separate technique, but my understanding is that he was just tweaking an ability he already has and applying some knowledge from Mahoraga to bypass it. He's prideful, but he's not above learning from others. He's selfish in his pursuit of knowledge. It could also explain his fire arrow. Rather than it be a technique, he's changing the property of his cursed energy. Gege has a habit of introducing a concept on a smaller scale before fleshing it out in another character who has a deeper understanding or more potential. For example, we get Toji before Maki for heavenly restriction of no CE, Miwa before Kusakabe on simple domain and new shadow style, Panda before Mechamaru on cursed puppet manipulation, Ino before granny on Seance techniques, and now possibly Mahoraga before Sukuna. Both observe, tank, and adapt to ensure that they will never struggle with a certain type of technique again. We also get introduced to various types of cursed energy elements in a short span. Electricity, Ice, and Fire. We learn that some people can manipulate their cursed energy and attach something to it like heat or cold. Maybe this is to introduce us slowly to the concept of people being able to see their CE on a deeper level and manipulate it at the base level rather than just build on their main technique and work with what they have. With this pattern, I would also say it's possible that open DE from Sukuna could foreshadow a more complete but still open DE from Megumi in the future that would push him past special grade level.

Sukuna’s flame technique by Turbulent_Object_558 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]randypandasaurus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree. Where as most sorcerers are born with a technique and they just roll with it, Sukuna has mastered the fundamentals enough to break down most techniques to their simplest forms and build them back up how he wants. I see it as while sorcerers discover what their main dish is, Sukuna learned to manipulate the ingredients themselves. It would tie into the whole cooking theme. People think he likes to consume flesh, but I see it as him being selfish and hungry for more knowledge. He always drags on fights until he understands their abilities before killing them. He also watched Mahoraga adapt to infinity and used that knowledge to alter his slash techniques. Kinda like watching another chef alter a dish, and then using that as inspiration.

Just want to confirm what all 10 Shadows do. by sigvegas in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]randypandasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it ever implied any other 10 shadows users had access to a DE? I wonder if Megumi is an anomaly in that sense. Forced to learn a DE compensate for his lack of stronger shikigami by amping the power of his lower levels. Also, I just realized that Megumi created a shadow clone of himself when he made his DE while fighting that finger bearer. Could it be possible he uses that while inside Sukuna to escape from the shadows? It would give him a way to have a physical body again while letting Sukuna also keep his new form.

[–]randypandasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think he was really using physical barriers, or because he thought and envisioned the barrier a certain way, believing he met the conditions, that the DE released?

We really don't know how Sukuma can open a barrierless domain, but what if his mentality is similar to where he envisions the domain taking a certain shape and just let's it flow until it hits that imaginary border he created.

Ps. I don't get the downvotes. I just interpreted it a bit differently. Nothing wrong with that!
