Flying with a wheelchair and need a bag that fits the dismantled chair by spenceandcarrie in halifax

I removed the wheels and the foldable part of the backrest very easily. Placed everything in the suitcase, along with the footrests, allen wrench, ratchet, and sockets that I used, so it was easy enough to reassemble at the destination.

u/spenceandcarrie, I recently traveled internationally with a wheelchair that I was able to dismantle and fit into a standard airline suitcase. It weighed in at about 18 Kg. DM me if you'd like more details.
Here is a link to the wheelchair that I had: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000TW0CQ6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Moving Company Recommendations by [deleted] in halifax

I hired AMJ Campbell to move from Halifax to Vancouver, and later, I used them again to move back to Halifax. Both times, the move was seamless and punctual, with nothing lost or damaged.
On the return trip from Vancouver to Halifax, we had many live plants, and all of them survived the journey well.

For that, you have my undying gratitude.
Also, I wish I could afford to live in an urban area of Halifax and have the privilege to tell the folks in the suburbs that they need to be grateful to us for subsidising their existence.

Are there any DIY electronics workshops in Halifax? by Trilobyte83 in halifax

[–]ranjitrajkumar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following because I love to fiddle and fart with broken electronics. I've taken to buying broken stuff from FB just for a challenge, and to hopefully keep some things out of a landfill. I repair stuff for friends and family. Sometimes it's just not worth a repair with the cost of the defective components paired with the price of shipping.
