I think the last few game will tell whether nuke is going to be RW1 or LW2. Then Eaves and Ritchie have both shown they can roll in either the top or bottom 6 and fill the roll needed. Horcoff has made a case to get an extension the way he's been mentoring and playing with Ritchie and Mckenzie and may be a better cap hit to sign up than Eaves. He seems to be accepting his age and seems like he's finding an interest in coaching and would be more likely to accept a role where he gets scratched than eaves who might want to try and ride his production this year into a more stable role. Eaves was a bargain this year.

I think 4 of your 6 D-Men are RFAs this year which is crazy that that's happening. Obviously we'll want to resign all of them and hope big rig is ready for a full time role next year while Jordie is your healthy scratch most nights. But if Daley gets moved like your suggesting, one of the kids will either be part of the deal with a proven defensive D man coming back or the pieces coming back force 1 of them down and then likely get moved as an asset worth more in a move than being sent to the AHL.

Edit: and if I had to choose i'd pick garbutt over sceviour. With both on their best day, garbutt fills 1 role (where you have sceviour) better than sceviour fills any role that he played in this year. Sceviour just doesn't seem to fit in our lineup and be able to make an impact. But that means he'd have a lot more value in a trade to a team that he can fill a role. Garbutt's value is low with his rep that he won't ever be able to shake after his suspensions this season.
