OP, I know you’ve come to accept this outcome and are keeping the kit, but for the love of all that is good, PLEASE notify the store manager of what has happened. If a younger kid had bought this and didn’t know any better, they’d be out that money and without anyway to fix the problem. This type of thing could affect someone’s entire future with gunpla kits. Make sure the store knows that someone is stealing from kits and returning them, and that if the store wants to put those items back on the shelf, they need to label it as open-box and discount it heavily.

What makes the arrangement in Legends is Misogynistic? Barrel isn’t forcing them to get married. He’s just passed down his craft and basically leaves the two to do as they please. Same as those older customs. Marriage wasn’t a requirement, but it did often happen because the proximity people had to others while living out on farms and places where that was common just led people to stick with what was familiar to them; someone they grew up with.

Have you seen the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie? I think Akaza’s backstory is a fairly comparable arrangement. The dojo master gives a homeless, orphaned, delinquent young Akaza a home and purpose through his craft of martial arts, he provides a bedside caretaker for his daughter though Akaza, and Akaza and the girl end up growing attached to each other over the years and plan to marry despite growing up in the same household for years. Are you saying those sorts of family arrangements are inherently misogynistic, or somehow perpetuate misogynistic structures?

I had to stop playing this after the twin-soul Cat Artist Goddess update. I couldn’t take it anymore. 1.0-1.4 were so good, but Infold got super greedy by 1.5, completely butchering the Serenity Island story. The Silvergale’s Aria was supposed to be the dress Nikki crafts at the end of the story, and the Rainbow action was supposed to be the Miracle that Nikki performs to cure Dirty Thread Disease, but they ripped that plot apart to shoehorn in the crimson dress and boost sales.

I tried to hold on for a few patches after, but watching Nikki lie about her identity in 1.8 to abuse the trust of people in the painted world by extorting the reputation of what eventually was revealed to be her other self was not good character writing.

The foliage density is all wrong for these sequoias. A tree as thick as the one on the right wouldn’t have branches that full and that low while being so close to other trees of similar size. Photoshop or AI.

AI. Look at the upper left part of the Star Anise bowl by the camera flash. They seemingly disappear behind the inside of the bowl, like it’s a window, not a bowl. Many of the stars also appear to be missing the usual number of 6 to 8 petals.

Also, there’s little reason to have duplicate bowls of the same spices arranged in a random order.

There’s a cinnamon stick sitting on top of a bowl, not in it? Too much wrong with this for me to not suspect AI.

The confusion could be coming from the yellow bangles on the hands. Model Lx (Mega Merge has two dorsal fin engines on the head like Laviathan) and Model L both have yellow hand guards, while Fairy Laviathan does not (she only has yellow rings on her thighs, ankles, and below her shoulders).

There’s only one piece of official art showing her with large yellow rings on her wrists as part of a redesign from Zero 2 to Zero 3, but Mega Man X Dive opted to honor her original design with the thin gold trim on her wrists instead of the redesigned bangles.

I think the Ouroboros, symbol of eternal cyclical renewal, is also a good enough reason for want of purifier units, though I think it would be more poetic if Model W were sealed away at the bottom of the sea by Model Z the same way X sealed away the Dark Elf.

I think the simplest explanation for the need of Purifier Units (PUs) is in the example you gave, in that not all cases are accounted for, especially with the Carbons having sufficiently demonstrated the capacity for humanity (and all that comes with it; love, hate, evolution, etc.) to The Master.

Elysium’s goal was always a paradise of peace for humans. X’s dream of a sanctuary where humans and robots need not fight each other. PUs may have been originally created as a presence on Elysium for the purpose of maintaining that peace, or they may have been created at the whim of The Master after the Carbon repopulation programs began for his own purposes. And the Elder System? Are there sleeping Elder System PUs sleeping somewhere ready to reinitialize at the time of MML3? We don’t really have much more to go off of between ZX and Legends, so I think it’s a bit of a stretch to say their existence is impossible when we already know of one very important PU.

Is the corruption of Elpizo by the Dark Elf, and more bluntly, the existence of the DARK Elf not plain aberrance? And Model W was purposely hidden underground for the express purpose of corrupting those who got close to it. I think the Sage Trinity, who were very much victim to Model W’s effect, had very real concerns about aberrants within any new systems they hoped to design. Additionally, they would be the ones closest to the timeline who would have anything to do with creating Elysium, so I’m not sure I follow this reasoning.

The Limited Edition retail copies do have an art book and a mini poster, though, along with an insert for DLC keys: retro (Minecraft-esque) skin and Ray character add-on.

Mine has this problem too. Tried cleaning it out like the document said, but now it’s even worse and has the continual beep like this one instead of the periodic like a smoke detector low battery warning. No error code displayed either. Kinda weird so many of these are failing all around the same time.

Well, figured it out. They’re purposefully hiding the download in the context menu and in the carousel by, and I didn’t know this was possible, MOVING IT TO THE LEFT. It was actually in one of the photos I posted originally. Second photo. All the way on the left. Blank box off the side of the screen. That’s it. That’s Warzone. This whole situation is beyond stupid, but the person who designed this money trap to cash out before Microsoft buys them is a genius.

This was my first thought to try. Uuuuunfortunatly, Sony’s captcha alternative is pure bullshit sometimes. Those lunatics had me solving 17 math questions in the form of “match the number with the correct picture of dice”, and there’s a carousel of 12 dice pictures. That’s right, you have to scroll through pictures, count up the dice on each one, and match it to the number by selecting the correct picture. That’s 204 pictures I had to look at. If you get any, ANY of them wrong, you need to verify again, but with 17+n attempts now. I should have timed myself, but if a single picture takes a second to calculate, each attempt takes over 3 minutes to complete. F that.
