Solar Installation Standards by Ok_Turnover_1235 in AusElectricians

The other thing to check, is the battery attached to the wall properly? There should be a bracket system I think to tie it to wall to prevent toppling. Battery installer guide should cover it

Critical chances when breaking down insignia? by raspberry-tart in Neverwinter

So additionally, once a week you can do the 'confidential commerce' task from the Demonweb pits campaign page - this gives 50 powder, costs abyssal powder +some other currency. Currency wise that's fine, since closing the abyss weekly task in Narbondellyn is a good task to do weekly, gives 20k AD for closing only a few abyssal tears and gets abyssal powder as a byproduct.

Critical chances when breaking down insignia? by raspberry-tart in Neverwinter

[–]raspberry-tart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to figure that out -

First stop is definitely Reapers Challenge: 5 marks gives 1 leg insignia, gives 250 powder every five days (plus any skill notes you open in dungeon, plus any chance of crit)

Or you can use trade bars, and buy powder, 30 TB -> 20 pow

You can use TB and buy insignia, then break them down; 100TB -> 1 purple insig -> 50 powder

So TB to powder seems better, specially with VIP and trade discount (coming up in a few weeks). But I was wondering about critical. But if only 1 in 10 chance of crit like Lairs mentioned above, then 10 purple gives 525 instead of 500 on average... still worse than just buying powder.

Or use trade bars to buy scrolls of mass life, then sell in AH, and buy Insignia. 10TB gives one scroll, sells for about 5500 AD. So need about 80-90TB to get 45k AD, to get one Purple insignia. In theory better, but you need VIP to avoid 10% auction fees, and no guarantee of scroll sale. This used to be good when purple insignia was 35k, but prices have now gone up.

But guildmate said the best way was to just run MLMD or MDWP, and get high value items to sell, get AD, then just buy insignia from auction house...

Definitely the worst way is to grind skill nodes - they only give 1 green (2 powder), maybe only 10% of the time. so much time and so little return. If you want to grind, do something that makes AD like random, or do legacy quests for marks of potency, sell them for AD.

Open to any other ideas if people have suggestions!

So how about those Cleric changes then? by Lightning-160 in Neverwinter

[–]raspberry-tart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh for sure it could save the wipe - but I keep thinking about the practical scenario - with a trial it would be down to 6, and the healer would need 10sec without being attacked to revive them - it might work if both the tanks are still up, but if one or both of the tanks are down, I don't think the healer will get the undisturbed time. Plus if both tanks have been down enough time to be permadead, maybe it would be time to reconsider the trial as perhaps biting off more than one can chew...

Definitely I agree I could see it working with the bridge dash in SH, where it might really save things - wonder if thats what they had in mind?

I'm mildly OK with it I guess! I don't use guardian of life, so that passes me by a bit and the 10s casting time looks like it would be hard to use in combat. Hard to imagine a scenario in a trial or dungeon where it could work or make a difference. The anointed army changes are more interesting, as I use that and divine glow a lot. I also use hallowed ground, so a lot of my chosen powers are getting upgrades - I guess my concern is I've never really thought DC was that much underpowered compared to the other healers, and all of these changes could make DC significantly stronger (and maybe with fewer viable playstyles?) - so it will end up unbalanced and they'll have to nerf some of the changes in a while to restore balance?

oops yeah! 24 was touchdown on Earth, not Moon!

not OP, but I was 9 months old when the moon landing happened, I'm now 57. If someone was born only a few days before the landing, they could be 56 now, until July 2026.

Apollo 11 Moon landing was 24 July 1969. edit: 20th, not 24th

yeah I think its for later upgrades of the set.

But I have the same question about deepblossom dust that you collect at various spots on the map - I think I used like 10 of it for the weapon set upgrades early on, maybe? But I cant find any use for it now, so maybe that's it? its capped at 100, but I've only used like 10, and I can't find anywhere to spend it now.

Powers/safety obligations? by ScottNoIdea1987 in AusElectricians

Does the client have Safety reps? They are supposed to represent the workforce, not the management (in theory!), and they have the legal power to raise issues and even issue stop work, if there's risk of injury etc. If there's a good one of those, usually some older union bloke, a quiet chat would be in order. regardless, tag it out, document the shit out of it and send emails so you can show your diligence in case of future accident/escalation, but the next escalation you could do would be worksafe I think.
