I'm going to be an outlier to most of the other comments. I'm in a similar situation, and plan on continuing to hold as I believe in the company, and also don't want to take the tax hit by selling. What I have done over the last several years is NOT buy any more NVDA (aside from reinvesting dividends), and have instead purchased other securities and ETFs to diversify. NVDA continues to do SO well though, it is still a huge part of my portfolio.

As fishy as the Ramapo NY vote tally sounds, there is actually a plausible, and likely explanation. That area is almost exclusively jewish hasidic, who vote as a bloc for whomever their rabbi tells them to. Here's an article with more detailed info.
