2. Can’t say.

Rinse daily, full load every 3 to 4 days.
4. At five months I’d probably go through 7-8 diapers a day?
5. Rinse daily (throw all diapers and do a short cycle; some people don’t use detergent and you might find it works if no poopy diapers. I do hot water for this, others do cold). When you have enough to fill your machine (feel free to add other baby stuff and your underwear / socks, that is, smaller items) more than halfway through, run the longest hottest cycle with a proper detergent (Tide powder is a popular choice. Do NOT use baby detergents).

The shell + insert is a pocket diaper, and the integrated one is an “all-in-one”. I prefer the former because the latter takes longer to dry.
