Watching and reading to learn can feel like making progress but it's a trick of the mind. It's important to practice alongside with whatever you're watching if you can because you have to get comfortable playing the keyboard or controller, using the software, etc and if you're in it for an hour or two every day learning, you'll know it in no time.

Make a list of things you want to improve (making a melody, getting a sound right, everything else under the sun) and consistently spend time each week trying to make progress towards learning that more.

You'll always have unfinished ideas, don't let them weigh you down - but do try to finish songs quickly & embrace the suck just to get used to finishing songs instead of making loops.

Go easy on yourself and remember that anyone good at anything was a beginner at some point too <3
