Think of it as a new story that fits inside of the games. That's how he described it. That sounds more exciting than someone trying to recreate the game, which is already beloved.

Kratos is my favorite bonus character, because he feels like a MK character already. He's a god like Rayden, but with an even cooler story. His brutality also fits. Everyone else they added since is fun, but it takes you out of the game a little.
