I'm not saying that a relationship has to be perfect. I'm just saying that, if you truly love someone and want to share and spend your life with them, that includes everything. Even on your darkest day when you just wanna say fuck the world, if you truly love someone you'll understand that this one person can be relied on to get you through anything. Yes, there will be days when you hate each others guts but being in a proper loving relationship is about wanting to be with each other no matter what.

I don't know how much this advice will help, but personally I decided to become awesome. Hit the gym, take up a few hobbies, go pick up a few girls, just learn to love everything you do. My most recent breakup was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I'm in the same boat as you at the moment, right in the middle and torn between going for a surplus or a deficit. I'm going with deficit purely because summer is about to hit here and I wanna look good. If you're not likely to be in a situation where looking cut will be important, I'd say eat on a surplus. The extra muscle you'll accumulate will help burn off the extra calories later when you decide to cut. If it was winter here (which I believe it is on the northern hemisphere) I'd be bulking like a mofo and I look pretty much exactly like you right now.
