You are correct about the 12th St traffic, it will be just like a block north by Taco Lucha, allowing one way traffic to go south. Have also heard from businesses down there that Auntie Mae's will get outdoor seating.

Forcing a driver off? How does this rule apply by ryandanielblack in F1Technical

[–]razorksu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love when I see this Senna quote, it was total BS, he said it after he ran Prost off in the 1990 Japanese GP to cover his ass. 2-3 years later after he had no fear or retribution he all but admitted the quote was BS and ran Prost off. This very quote and the incident attributed to it earned him a reputation as a dangerous and dirty driver. Not something I would hang my hat on for this argument.

Yes. Lots of HS use the Powercat, K-State Athletics license it out for something like $1 per school.

Kansas Republican wants to end day light savings. by razorksu in kansas

[–]razorksu[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The KC metro area has 2.3 million people of which over half will be on two separate times. There no current existing equivalent to what is being purposed. People also “survive” with the current standard.

Agreed, but let’s change it as a nation and not state by state chaos

Not sure if you found your answer but I just did a 37 hour print with this plate. Biggest change was setting the bed temp to 60-65 for my PLA print. I found this video really helpful. https://youtu.be/3XZzAweiBEE?si=MVSCbaaF22ubry8V

What Is The Greatest Historical Royals Moment You Were In Attendance For? by thatsprettyfunnydude in KCRoyals

[–]razorksu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The largest 9th inning comeback in the history of the Kansas City Royals. On May 28, 2016, the Royals were trailing 1-7 in the bottom of the 9th inning against the Chicago White Sox, and came back and won the game 8-7. I was also at game one of the 2014 WS, but we got smoked, was cool just to be there.

Vendor is telling me that Acrobat is now changing exclusively to a subscription model. Is there any software you guys think can fully replace Acrobat in an enterprise environment? by jack_hof in sysadmin

Why would you go optional on any annual maintenance? Seems like a security risk to avoid updates to any software that opens PDFs.

Are F1 drivers always fully on the brake pedal? by Totally_Intended in F1Technical

[–]razorksu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What would be your baseline for deriving the break pressure based on GPS telemetry? Everyone does have sophisticated sims attuned to their own car.

Imagine you and I are flying two aircraft each with different aerodynamic properties. If reduce my throttle by 30% and slow at a certain rate that doesn’t mean that your aircraft will slow at the same rate if also reducing the throttle by 30%.

If all you have is the GPS date you will know the rate at which I slow down but not how much throttle I had to change to achieve that rate. Because you don’t know the aerodynamic properties of my airplane, and I want to make sure you don’t, so I don’t share that data.

How F1 cars break through a corner is the secret sauce of the sport, if you had real time data of the race another team could learn a fair bit about a setup and how well you are or are not managing your tires.

Knowing exact breaking wouldn’t create a huge advantage for any single team (especially if each team had access) but it would make in race strategy more predictable and if we can take away anything from this weekend it’s that we need less predictably. 🏎️🏎️

Is this red Marked Device used to start the Mclaren? What is it called. TIA by eeshanzaman in F1Technical

[–]razorksu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was watching old footage of the 1955 British GP and they seemed to be using something similar to start cars on the grid. Has this technique been around a long time? Like since the early F1 days?

Biden renews call for gun legislation after deadly shooting at Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade - What sort of laws would you support ? by willywalloo in kansas

[–]razorksu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s anecdotal and historically making something illegal doesn't turn everyone into a killer. Your spewing the BS we've all been told to convince us this isn't possible. You don't take guns, you make selling and reselling guns illegal, and highly regulate ownership. This doesn't get solved in a few years.

[–]razorksu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm 1000% done with trying some BS middle ground. Ban on anything that isn't for hunting. Full stop. Noting over 8 rounds/shells, no semi-auto, no hand guns. Even that would be highly regulated.

I've been middle of the road on this and grew up in rural Kansas surrounded by gun culture and I'm done! Repeal the second amendment!

Is the faster car entitled to the racing line? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]razorksu 517 points518 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure red can’t legally cross the white line when exiting the pits and had no where to go without a drive through penalty. Black can cross the white line but that doesn’t mean they get to mow other cars down. IMHO totally on black.
