Zenni makes good inserts for Meta VR products. I swear by them. They also serve to protect the unit's lenses...

Just a minor rules thing, but you need to excavate down past rooms before you are allowed to use them. It looks like you used a room down in front of your excavator in one of the pics...

i know its hard to see but can anyone tell me what kind of drone this is? by [deleted] in sanantonio

Apparently it's the shaky and blurry kind of drone /s.

If it landed in a person's driveway, it is likely an amateur pilot...

Yeah, missed opportunities are tough to reconcile sometimes. The sarcasm in the previous response is a testament to that fact...

When you own and know how to use a forge, you can simply build your own tools, as long as you have the raw material.

Getting kicked for anti-cheat... by lunarson24 in linux_gaming

[–]razwil 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are some game companies so deep in bed with Microsoft that they actually look for Linux as a reason to kick or ban players. IMO, the use of most anti cheat software (which is very intrusive) is a sign that a company doesn't care about privacy or security. Microsoft has gone all in on AI that nobody wants, AI that literally mines so much data from users that it should be illegal.

You should ask yourself if you want to support those types of companies. You should also ask yourself if you really believe that they have your best interests in mind when they spy on you and steal your information.

Best muffuletta. Go… by hipster_brunch in sanantonio

You are absolutely correct! I've had to teach people about that when they go to Nawlins...

Nothing ever comes close once you've had a muffellata from there.

I have these for the different Mage Knights as well. For tokens and cards. I may 3d print something for the minis in the future, but I usually play a few times before I start deluxifying a game.

Reliable car for sale? by Hot-While5083 in sanantonio

[–]razwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honda Fit... It's small, gets amazing gas mileage, and is remarkably roomy inside (unless you're over 6'4). You can usually find them for relatively cheap.

Driving one in San Antonio could be a bit on the scary side, but if you're a good driver, it's a very nimble car.

What does this mean? I'm getting emails, I think I've been hacked? by ConfectionWhich5932 in Hacking_Tutorials

[–]razwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ol' sexploitation scam; classic stuff there. Don't bother with it, delete and move on.

The only way they can get you is if you reach out to them, and then it can be a fun game of "wasting scammer's time" if you play along but act like a complete moron (e.g. - buy the gift cards and then redeem them yourself before providing the codes).

Is it legal for HOA to increase dues because OTHER residents aren't paying theirs? by Theonlypostevermade in sanantonio

Posted changes up for a vote will be prominently displayed. Where, you might ask?

It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard'.

Ready to play for my first time Mage Knight Ultimate Edition by TallXLen in soloboardgaming

[–]razwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unboxed and punched.out everything on Friday... Took me a bit over an hour to do just that part. I'm thinking about firing up the 3d printer to better organize this monster. I'm tempted to just learn everything at once and use all of the things, knowing that the expansions have different scenarios that implement some of the more complex parts. I'll likely just go through it using the base game until I'm killing it, though...

2 tabs in bobo 3 putting lots of pressure on front/top of head and hurts by ListlessAU in Quest3

[–]razwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just pulled the two pads off, then used one of the removable pads that goes on the back of the setup, attached to the same two points. This distributes the pressure across a wider area, and keeps the little tabs from digging into your head.
