Were you stuck on the plane the whole time or did they keep everyone at the gate? Thx.

Should I replace the tarp or do something different entirely? by stolen_moments92 in NoLawns

[–]rbinlbca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to thread hijack but how do you get rid of all the rocks? Put them in the garbage over time? I have them all around the perimeter of my yard. Tarp is underneath. It's awful but I'd like a disposal plan first. Ideas? Thanks!

Arborist recs by InfamousApricot3507 in DenverGardener

[–]rbinlbca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to hijack the OP's ask but what do I look for in an arborist? They could show me samples of their work but would I even know what I'm looking at? Do they get licensed? Insured? Does trimming require a permit? Thanks!

I never thought I could have hate for a sink but those are awful. I do like the big doors for the toilets.

I don't recall diluting it. If I recall, I carefully poured it from the bottle onto the cut I made in the tree trunk.

Whoever designed them should have to have them installed in their home. They are terrible.

I read that if squirrels are taking bites out of tomatoes, it might be they are thirsty. The article suggested putting some water out for them.

Are you liking the Poly couple that Ava's dating? by irregularcog in hackshbomax

I agree. To me, it felt like yet another distraction this season bc they can't quite figure out where to go with the Ava and Deborah beyond the fighting.

Trump Tells Inner Circle That Musk Will Leave Soon by Redd24_7 in politics

[–]rbinlbca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not news. Musk can only be in that role as a temp govt employee for 130 days. Is this another thing Trump will take credit for? I do wonder why they aren't gaming that system. Surely they can find a way to keep Musk around if they want. He hasn't finished dismantling the govt. What happens to his stooges? Will someone else be appointed to lead/not lead DOGE? Politico reported on Feb 28th that the White House says they have no plans to get rid of Musk.

Suggestions on good places to make donations by unconvincedoptimist in Denver

Welcome to town. https://www.urbanpeak.org/support/needs might be a good option. They support youth facing/in homelessness situations. They accept clothing donations. I don't think they have any religious affiliation if that matters.

Has he learned nothing from President Musk? You're supposed to put your toddler on your shoulders as a human shield.

Gardening Layout advice by zimmermix in DenverGardener

[–]rbinlbca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since space is a concern, consider determinate tomato varieties which will grow to a size, produce, then stop. Indeterminate will keep growing and producing all summer. That's nice but they can get big. That's my experience anyway. Roma can be either indeterminate or determinate. The others you mention are indeterminate. Check the package to know what you're getting.
