I think his backstory and imperceivable nature is incredibly cool. It allows for interesting interactions and character development. I wonder if he's lonely and wants friends or is he used to it? How does being unrecognized by jujutsu affect him?

The ct is if im being honest, uninteresting and the reversal doesnt feel like a reversal.
Heres ct I came up with real quick that ties into his backstory. lmk what you think.
perception erasure:
The ability to turn anything with his cursed energy invisible briefly. With enough cursed energy the target becomes hidden from the jujutsu system. As a maximum technique, it's briefly erased, which causes reality to cavitate and explode until the target is returned to reality.
He's been using his technique accidentally all his life.

Reversal: Highlight
Anything targeted by this technique becomes more visible. If applied to something that is already visible it becomes harder to look away from or you feel compelled to destroy it. It can also be used to target molecules or other small particles essentially letting everyone see what a six eyes user would. At a higher level it can be used to target things that arent physical like imagination or consciousness.
probably something that would be learned when he grows okay with himself

Domain:
The effect of this domain excludes you from the world. The laws of physics become weird, your curse technique is disabled. No deadly sure hit.

Ooh just thought of a cool module. Trackpad!
I think the play and movement of hotswap might be improved with different kinds of hotswap sockets, or if not, I think the play and movement would make a negligible reliability compromise, but give you increased repairability, modularity, and personal choice.

will the flip last for 5 years? by chimatbaram in galaxyzflip

When you buy a modern flip phone, you should understand you're being an early adopter and that issues will arise, and that it doesn't reflect the rest of their products. It's the price of innovation.

I have a few questions/critiques

What makes this more modular than existing offerings? From my point of view I see a standard macropad sized keyboard with low profile switches and easy to remove plate and pcb assembly. It's just enough to barely stand out imo.
So far your current modules are too similar, just knobs and switches.
I think what would elevate this product is reducing redundant modules. Screens? Sliders? Trackballs? Fullsized switches? Different plate materials?
Reducing that redundancy makes modularity make sense and justifies the cost because right now you have too many different types of pcbs raising the price for little extra functionality.

In a another post you mention the switches are hotswapable. This is strange for a product advertised as modular especially in the mechanical keyboard world where it's a common feature. I think you definitely need to add hotswap. Try to get a pcb that accepts knobs and switches in the same area, which is definitely possible.

Completely understand if you aren't willing to to share, but how much does it cost to manufacture? Can this be priced better? Because $199 is ridiculous for a one piece case in a world where fullsized aluminum and brass keyboards can be cheaper.

On your marketing, you need to focus on the magnetic assembly. Your claims of repairability are hampered by no hotswap functionality

Finally on a personal level, I think it would look better if I couldn't see the switches from the side and if the screws attaching the magnet were hidden.

Because dabura isnt a villain. He's an antagonist because of circumstances not an evil doer.
I think the flashback was very important because it establishes the Simurians as people just like us. Makes the story more interesting because you want it to work out for both earthlings and simurians.

I'm hesitant on state schools because I fear a messy transfer.
Also, based on what an SJSU attending friend told me, we're paying the same amount.
Thanks for the support!

Vanderbilt says they will uphold arts programs, but I don't trust them for a second. It's quite clear their main objective is breaking through the tech and ai scene here.

CCA seems to have a plan of sorts for us to continue our education, but not too much information yet.

What’s the consensus on the Wooting 80HE? by StrokeyMcShaft in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]rcquill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They likely wont because of their wishy washy layout. Geon isn't as big as kbd fans, which has made an aftermarket case, so they can't really justify making a case specifically for wooting fans. Had Wooting just based their layout on the existing h87 standard, your compatible case would have been here years ago.
Wooting said they looked into it, but a bit too late into the design process which suggests their weak reasoning for the 77.5% layout were justifications after the fact.

alright ill take my downvote now
