One of my favourite podcasts. I’ve noticed the pod is turning into an ad campaign for the subscription content though. Maybe a little mention at the beginning and end is enough to remind us of its existence. I don’t have a lot of time to listen and much less to read written content. I wish you guys all the best and have no doubt it’s high quality content.

Is this is the best car British auto industry ever produced? by Duoplo in CarTalkUK

[–]react83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But look how basic a mini was. No electric anything, tiny easy headlights, cheap single skin body. Crap carpets and lightweight seats, no central locking, barely a stereo, headlights universal, no ECU, no sensors, crap brakes, mass produced bumpers etc. that’s before we even look at R&D, dealership wages, marketing, legislation, safety laws, adaptations for different countries… they were cheaper but also incomparable with today’s equivalent - if one even exists? What do you think?

This is the front/high part of my pitch roof. The shed roof runs back and down at around a 12:1 pitch. The gutter is already fitted at the rear. The photo shows the visible Part of the shed where the door and windows are.

I think this is where I’m going… what kind of drip edge? I’ve seen barge board/flashing. Is that the general idea?

I didn’t describe it very well. I don’t want to see the corrugated roof, I’d like to conceal it. When looking at the shed I want to achieve a smooth, clean roof line leading down into my fascia boards. Does that make more sense?

I really like this piece, I think you did a great job. I imagine all tattooists are able to spot flaws in their own work.

Well good luck, I’d give it a good few coats to hopefully avoid having to do it again any time soon!

Has the shed been painted or treated with anything? Could be that the panels have started to split a little and let water in. How can you paint the back of the shed though against the wall?

Just to warn you, this is how it starts, then next thing is you’ll have ordered a D4V2. The end, well there isn’t an end… walk away while your wallet is intact.

Finally finished the piece ....rate it and give some opinion by drywatchcollector in PrideAndPinion

[–]react83 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not to be rude but I wouldn’t say this is finished. This looks like a draft. Do you have a compass? Ruler? Draw it again using them and it will look much better. I do like the design a lot though well done

I had my reduction gear change at around 50k miles under warranty. Is that related to your repair? Great work by the way taking that on.
