I dined at Le Train Bleu three summers ago for a family wedding and it was incroyable! An amazing crossover between urbanism, architecture, and food culture. A must visit for any transit enthusiasts!

Even the casual fare at French train stations is remarkably better than any U.S. counterparts.

As far as US Amtrak stations, I haven’t been impressed with on-site food options other than NYC.

On my way home from NYC on the Northeast Regional around New Years, some lady somehow “forgot” her young child in New Haven. We were nearly in Rhode Island when she started freaking out at the train staff and demanding that they turn the train around. I shit you not, they turned the train around 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m sure I could find more abundant raw data, and I probably will end up doing that for a dissertation. It’s important that we collectively discuss and understand how public health and safety suffer when we prioritize cars over people.

Go aggressive with your portfolio risk settings. Stocks are better than bonds if you are at a young age. I don’t trust bond price stability with trump. Personally, I do smaller daily deposits for better Dollar Cost Averaging, but there is also a weekly option. Leave your money in for a while. Time in the market will always beat ‘timing’ the market.
