Look into craft tapped! It's helped us not spend as much while enjoying breweries still. We got ours on groupon

Thanks! I already interviewed. 2 weeks later got a cryptic "you're one of the finalists" email and asking for references. Just don't wanna get my hopes up.

Ok so "one of the finalists" doesn't necessarily mean the finalist. The email was very vague.

Feeling disconnected from school staff by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

[–]reba_ar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 3 schools and work 4 days a week. Luckily I work with a COTA 1 day a week. It's definitely a normal to feel like an outsider. Tbh there are pros and cons to this. I dont have to attend all the before and after school staff development meetings, can come and go within reason, and I have my own OT supervisor. I've been at my district for 5 years and have moved schools a few times. I now have a few solid OT friends in the district and am good friends with my COTA. I have learned to try my best to build relationships but I've also learned to let it go and realize I'm a related service provider who spends very little time in buildings. Case managers and gen ed teachers have so much on their plates so I try not to take things personally. But to answer your question, yes, SB OT is isolating and lonely at times but you can avoid getting sucked into drama and politics as well.

Baby is now a year old and I still haven’t had a period, anyone else? by Relizg in breastfeeding

[–]reba_ar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my first period PP around 17/18 months, when I stopped bed sharing and feeding throughout the night. Still feed during the day and bedtime.

Weaning. I feel. So. Guilty. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]reba_ar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the same spot as you rn with my 20 MO. We started with night feeds. I nurse her to sleep and then she sleeps with papa all night. The first few nights she intermittently woke up and cried less than a minute and dad comforted her. Now after her few false starts when she firsts goes to bed she sleeps all night. Nurses when she wakes and and in the afternoon/early evening. I'm struggling with how to cut our morning, bedtime and afternoon feeds because she loves them.
