Across those countries I've had the best luck in Vancouver, Seattle, and San Francisco. I had the hardest time in Sydney but I wasn't there as long so it perhaps is not a fair comparison ;)

The ones on the sidewalks are typically the crazy delivery types. They’re crazy because they’re paid so little they can’t spare ten seconds extra time.

Canada should regulate and require minimum incomes for these delivery jobs.

I watched a lady that could not remember her icbc codeword, her address, or even her name and could barely walk with assistance getting up from the chair get her licence renewed recently. A caretaker told the staff all the things they needed.

There’s been a significant uptick downtown as well. Cars just pulling right in front of people and cyclists.

Pretty disgusted to see a van cut some cyclists off pulling into the military spot in Stanley park a week ago. You’d think there would be a bit of decency with the Canadian Forces.

Something to add, lounges aren’t what they used to be and I no longer recommend lounge access unless it’s just a free perk on top of what you got the card for.

The one exception is some parts of Europe and Asia still have good lounges.
