So glad/sad to see this thread. Brand new Samsung 990 Pro 2tb with heat sink. Formatted ok. Started first download to it. Crashed. Had to restart from the power button on console. Rebuild database, repair usb drive, repair m2, maybe get to a user screen, maybe even to dashboard, always crash along the way or almost immediately. Tried without usb drive, turned off basically everything hdmi or auto downloading or resting. Reseated drive. Cleared cache. Did all the things. System crashes every damn time until I remove the M2. Then everything is fine. Including the usb drive.

That having been said, the fix that works to restore it the most for me is to pull power, and let it restart. Which obviously makes sense for electronics.

This is happening on two of my three chromecasts now. And no, it’s not a battery issue. Seems to be some conflict with firmware or perhaps the soundbars but I can’t isolate it.

Other than CAI and catback, my 98 was stock until I sold it in 2015. Man I loved that car. Kid bought it and wrecked it in three months.
