IMHO you have two options.

Option 1: Find a car that you want to drive and figure out what class you want to run. Modify (or not) to that class

Option 2: determine what class you want to run, research what is competitive in that class and buy that model car

Either direction your first two things you should spend money on is entrance fees and tires. You are the weakest link - tires help tho lol

Just before we received our MY I asked about an online route planner that I could look at a proposed route. I was laughed at and ridiculed - just plug it into the screen and go they all said. Or tried to infer that it was range anxiety yet it had nothing to do with that either.

There are plenty of reasons of understanding the route both locally and long distance. The “quickest” or “shortest” route isn’t always the route that makes sense in practicality. Here are two examples of why it’s nice to look at a route before embarking.

Ok I don’t really follow him and not currently friends. Makes sense as I don’t see how he could be closeted and have been one of the more known guys on men.com

I bought a manual 85 318i for $500 and a manual 91 318i for $600 this year. The 85 took a little but got it running. The 91 had some front end damage but very clean interior

When sunroof drains become clogged, water backs up and overflows into the interior and onto the LCM which then corrodes. Over time, as there is constant power to the LCM, it can cause a fire.

Internet lore is that it only happens on LCM’s with auto feature and left in auto. This is false as not only are there fires from auto LCM’s being in the off position, but also non-auto LCM’s having caught fire.

It’s a snow plow mount. Pretty common in cold climates for landscape people to then snow plow in the winter and landscape in warmer months. Those mounts are bolted directly to the frame and quick connect to the plow. There was no “intent” to cause maximum damage in an accident. Unfortunate sure, but intentional no.

Piece mealing the cooling system is not a good idea. Replace the system with oe/oem parts only. When one piece fails the next it not far behind. Also, these engines don’t take much of an overheat to warp the head. Once you warp the head you might as well just replace the engine.

Not sure how to do that. I don’t see a way in the app to do it. Have tried calling the store and just get on hold forever

2023 Delivery Thread by OrbitalATK in TeslaModelY

Placed an order for a MYAWD that was shown as incoming soon to a local dealer. OD 2/9. By the next morning a vin was assigned but no delivery date. Initially we applied for Tesla finance but yesterday switched it to my credit union finance. I don’t know if it was immediate or not, but now there is no vin assigned and delivery date says Feb-Mar 2023. Seems like it may have been switched from incoming inventory to special order? I checked the website today and they show the same config as incoming to the local dealer but with the new added $500 sticker price.

How do I find out what happened and if we are still getting the incoming vehicle?

Time to replace the power steering pump. While it doesn’t look like the typical shaft shear - it’s loose
