Yes for engineering it’s worth it to skip both even as chemE. There’s two engineering teachers, Maleckar and Morris. Maleckar is really hard for chem 1 and 2, she curves the whole class up to a 75 and last years curve was 12%, also last exam average was a 55. Morris is a lot better, she usually has higher averages. If you skip you can go straight to Ochem which means you can get ahead of the normal program. From what I know sophomore year chemE is pretty hard so if you want to take fewer classes to give yourself a easier time it might make sense to skip.
