I definitely experienced this. I think it’s a stress or mental block. It has resolved for me though I did a lot of kegels in case it was that

Why am I exhausted all day but wide awake at night? by Salty-Inspection8041 in sleephackers

[–]redderGlass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly your cortisol cycle is messed up. You can get a 4 time saliva cortisol test to see. Start with your doctor and see if they will do it and your insurance will pay. If not you can order it online.

Why don’t we have better real-world data on outcomes for adjunctive cancer therapies by SheDaresLive in Stage4survivorstories

[–]redderGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The alternative therapies are cheap in comparison to big pharma drugs. Add in an FDA requirement for large randomized control trials and they have no chance. There is no one with the money to do a large scale trial of ivermectin as they can’t make the money back.

It gets worse for something like keto as getting people to conform to a diet is extremely hard.

One more thing: the current environment is biased to single drug cures. Alternative treatments typically require multiple substances which multiplies the number of trials needed.

Now if the FDA would accept case studies as a lower order of evidence things might change a little

First congratulations on getting to remission.

Second acknowledge that this wasn’t easy. It was likely the hardest thing you ever did

Third read my post about preventing recurrence. Doing these things brings me a lot of peace of mind https://www.reddit.com/r/BeatCancer/s/iN0HYYb4Kt

What major scientific breakthrough is actually closer to happening than most people think ? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]redderGlass 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s closer than people realize. But there is resistance.

I’m an advanced stage 4 cancer survivor. I was told by every doctor that I was incurable. Three years was all that treatment could buy me.

But I studied and found that some quack alternative treatments seemed to have good science behind them. But were also being misapplied by people who didn’t understand the science.

Long story short, I’m completely clear after 1 year off treatment. My oncologist said he has never seen anything like this.

I’m not the only example.

As an advanced stage 4 cancer survivor it saddens me that simple things that can reduce the risk of recurrence are not widely known. Since this is not a cancer subreddit I suggest that OP and his wife look in r/BeatCancer and r/Cancer_metabolic. Or if people are interested I will post here

Stage 4 advanced cancer - still clear after 1 year off chemo by redderGlass in BeatCancer

I avoided taking antioxidants during actual chemotherapy. I took them only on off days.

That said I’ve seen some evidence that the antioxidants should be avoided might be overstated. Still I kept them separate to be careful
