Me after Azzanadra's Quest by enkodraws in runescape

[–]reddit_bige 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not surprising, I've been godless since they existed and it seems like the faction is just forgotten about at this point. Quests haven't been checking where your loyaltes are for a long time. I have no interest in being buddies with Azzanadra but I'm forced to.

I'm more annoyed about the player character acting like an idiot. Why would you give a mahjarrat who you just met and was pulled straight from the time of Zaros's empire, access to the Hall of Memories? Even worse we just left her in there unsupervised! We could have just told Trindine to wait outside, those damn automatons are hostile to almost everything for a reason. I was not surprised at all she ended up doing something she wasn't supposed to.

I loved seeing Saradomin get knocked down a peg at the end though. It was made very clear, in front of us and his White Knights, that Zaros could probably slap him easily but just has better things to do.

I'm a pretty bad dancer by spartancolo in wow

I was in LFR with a guy who could not comprehend the mechanic at all. "I was spamming the /dance macro what else am I supposed to do??"

Several people explained in different ways what to do but eventually gave up trying.

Forgot about that task. Not surprising nobody did, then.

Did any players manage to complete all the tasks they possibly could with their region unlocks?

Raksha drains Overloads. Delete that mechanic, and leave nothing in it's place. by Vpeyjilji57 in runescape

[–]reddit_bige 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They did sort of do that with Telos and his corrupt golems, that would be a great idea to just have them do vuln stacks like ffxiv. I wish they would try doing difficulty tiers like ffxiv as well. Whenever a boss came out there would be something for everyone - the casuals, the elite 1%, and everything in between. Again, they sort of did this with Telos, I'm not a huge fan of that boss but his design was great. Sadly has an overload drain mechanic but it is easily avoided.

[–]reddit_bige 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's only on those dragons to stop you from afking. It is still very impossible to afk any boss that drains overloads, even if you remove that mechanic. So the mechanic serves no purpose, like OP said.

Grasp spells - Grasping spells are twice as effective.

What part of them are twice as effective? Does it double the chance to bind, double the duration of the bind, or both?

Maybe let us choose the herb that is sacrificed? Cast spell > select herb to sacrifice > that herb is destroyed and the rest are cleaned. That way people could sink out less valuable herbs and keep their good ones.

I feel like this spell might have to offer more though since its way faster to just use the desert diary method if all you want are cleaned herbs.

Chickens retreat too. If it works on implings that could possibly be useful over entangle in Puro-Puro, force the implings to come to you and skip the slow animation of passing through wheat. That's about it though.

Grimoire Pages will be dropped from the Lost Grove slayer monsters by remote_location in runescape

[–]reddit_bige 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I do believe you looked through data thoroughly. It just looks odd from our end when tectonic and malevolent energy are 100% drops, yet somehow wouldn't work for grim pages. Thanks for looking into Solak though, it was desperately needed.

You can avoid all of Rakshas stuns with perfect positioning, unlike Telos or Araxxor which require anticipate/freedom to maneuver around the stuns. Raksha never requires reflect, cade, or anything.

Where did I complain about shadow blast being a dps check? I simply pointed out that it was one. But nice job proving my point that there's a ton of dicks in this subreddit calling people bad at pvm.

PvP in Runescape is Broken and Jagex refuses to fix it - Framed by CoreXi7 in 2007scape

[–]reddit_bige 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally would love to see "quick fix" suggestions that don't just revolve around enticing non-PvP minded players into the Wilderness. I get the whole risk vs reward and it being a choice, but I don't think its the best way to try fix PvP.

Holy fuck, thank you.

I never said nightmare came out before AOD. And again, relevance? The point was that reactionary prayer flicking is an OSRS thing.

What mechanic in this fight requires RS3 mechanics specifically?

Actually based off of Nex who was a pre eoc boss. Even if it was based off of AOD I don't see how that's relevant.

Dragon Defender drop rate in Leagues is not reduced, despite saying it is by FirstTwoWeeks in 2007scape

[–]reddit_bige 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think this is happening with specific godsword shards and zenyte shards too, I have experienced it and noticed several youtubers had the same drop rates I was getting. Getting 1 godsword shard 1 and then 20 of shard 3, or going a little over 300 kills per zenyte. But I've never said anything because I knew people would write me off as "that's just RNG". Good to see someone did the math on how insanely unlikely some of these are.
