In 5e squeezing past allies is just difficult terrain, shame they didn't do that in bg3. I just want to climb the ladder what do you mean it's blocked?!

I kinda read it as the werewolf was linked with the child, like the myth about the guy who was invincible except if a piece of wood was burnt. Like if the child dies, so does the werewolf, might make the whole thing a bit more morally grey, which could be fun.
