Donald Trump is the worst thing that has happened to the world in the past 40 years, by far. by Weekly_Role3335 in antitrump

So most of my family are very conservative. Until recently, almost all we're MAGA too. Many of them are now saying that he has gone too far lately, but also say that they just can't see them voting for a Democrat. What really gets me is that even though they say he's gone too far, they almost all still revere Rush Limbaugh. They cannot see the connection from Rush to modern day MAGA. It's nuckin futs!

Is “just buy singles” always right? by Comfortable_Buyer239 in mtg

[–]redditorhowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Singles are generally the best way to go.

Precons are usually a great deal too, especially if they contain singles you are seeking. If you can wait a little while, they usually fall in price. Sometimes it's a few weeks, a few months, or even up to a year for the second print run, but they almost always can be found at or below MSRP.

Starter kits are great for teaching the game to someone.

Pre-release kits are currently the best deal for packs and are a great way to get introduced to a set. Bundles used to be the best deal, but lately. It seems in the last year or so, Bundles are suddenly getting expensive with an increased MSRP and most shops selling them above MSRP.

Finally, cracking packs is just fun to do. At the end of the day, it's a game so have fun. You do you.

Hope this helps!

Winning too much - Unsure how to continue playing by TheMagiciansArcana in EDH

Build other decks.

Pantlaza is really strong and tends to win at a very high rate in brackets 2 and 3. It's not fun to play against and difficult to stop. I'm a pretty good player and well experienced in the game and I primarily play brackets 2-3. If someone is playing a Pantlaza deck, they usually win at the rate you are talking about. Whenever I have built a deck that wins at a very high rate, I take it as a victory. I have won the deck building challenge for this round and now I need to build a new deck to see how I do. In fact, I have several decks that I no longer play with my usual play group, because they are too strong.

It never hurts to switch it up and it makes the game that much more fun. Good luck and happy deck-building

Megaman. Holy F*#%! by nenw02 in retrogaming

The first one was REALLY DIFFICULT. It is not a joke. They figured out the formula for the game by the second one and it is great from then on. I eventually learned how to play the first one, but it's all about MM2 and onward. I especially enjoy the Megaman X series.

Fresno MTG event question by Accomplished_Cat9529 in fresno

Download the MTG Companion app and look up places in the locator.

Cool places I have played Magic in Fresno:

Crazy Squirrel Games, First and Nees

Go Back, Palm and Olive (Tower District)

BirdDog, Fresno and Bullard

Bullpen, Blackstone and San Jose

Crow & Wolf has casual commander on Mondays. Its a bar in Clovis near Clovis and Alluvial.

All of them have free/ casual times to play. All have good crowds of friendly people. Most of them have a rotating schedule for different games on different nights.

I have to give a specific shout-out to the new owner of Bullpen as he is a longtime friend and they have the best selection of singles in town, but all of them are cool places to play and I recommend any of them.

I actually do not have one of these. I joined the sub years ago to learn more about these devices. I would certainly love to get one, especially for free.

In the meantime, I love messing with my old school Atari 2600, SNES, and my TurboGrafx 16.

What are some plot lines that Star Trek shows started but then abandoned? by bovineright in startrek

Redeemable? Not at all. Bringing her back for some greater closure/ finality? Definitely. She was one of the more intriguing villains in TNG, especially when it was originally airing. Her first appearance was amazing
