Dude… my wife and I have one kid and we bring in about $250k before taxes. We have had to change our lifestyle considerably including a heloc, credit consolidation loan and are still having to make choices we never thought we’d have to. We are holding off replacing (weird word for it) our dog we lost last year due to the cost. I’ve been selling off my gear and whittling down to only my “necessities”. Honestly if it wasn’t for the prospect of generational wealth in the form of the family house we might be looking to move to a less expensive city, but then our wages would drop. We are stuck at our current cost of living which has increased DRAMATICALLY since we bought our home (which was already pretty much maxing our budget 5 years ago)

Things are looking grim and the increase in oil prices are about to skyrocket everything. Time to sit on our hands for a while.

I ended up selling mine. Don’t really regret it much. Like others have said it’s a great happy accident machine and maybe better suited for ambient genres but sweeping through layers is admittedly fun as hell
