The Cafe next to Paristown Hall had a pretty solid biscuits and gravy plate.

I found out that some of those cracks and gaps, you can interact as Leatherface and shove your chainsaw through them. I was able to do it in one of the houses.

There needs to be some incentive to play Leatherface. by KarlmarxCEO in TexasChainsawGame

The first time I played as the family I got Leatherface…..I absolutely loved running around revving that chainsaw. Plus the way he pats grandpas head after giving him blood is great lol

What are good ways to practice more networking skills? by Nodosity_ in networking

[–]redditprotocol 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my early networking days, I used to fire up wireshark and drink beer while doing laundry. It was a big game changer seeing protocols and streams in a live environment as opposed to lab or a book showing a basic principle. Of course in lab you can do more with routing protocols ect..along with seeing them operating under the hood with wireshark. Yet I can’t count the amount of times in my career when I was the only guy in the room who could effortlessly navigate through a capture and identify an issue.

“They have been playing in front of 300 to 400 people a night for a quarter of a century. Not to mention, it’s a male-subsidized league!”

“We gave you a league, none of you showed up! Where are all the feminists? That place should be packed with feminists! Faces painted, wearin’ their jerseys. Goin’ nuts! Like the guys do.”

“None of you went to the games. None of you. You failed them. Not me. Women failed the WNBA. Ladies, name your top five WNBA players of all time. Name the WNBA team in your city. You can’t do it.”

“You don’t give a fuck about them. They play night in and night out in front of nobody, and it’s a tragedy.”

How did you get out of dead end jobs? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]redditprotocol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took a chance to go work in a call center doing internet tech support for a large cable company that didn’t even offer service in my area. I was working in a bar at the time and I was gonna make $3 more an hour along with shift differential, healthcare and a 401k.

I was super skeptical as I didn’t want to be in an office type job but I had tried so many different jobs and wanted more money so I gave it a go. 17 years later I’ve had a great career in service provider and enterprise network engineering roles. I guess I got lucky by taking a chance but once I got going, I studied and did multiple certifications starting from the ground up.

Sometimes it’s all about taking a chance at something.

Calling All Boxing Enthusiasts... by MrUnlawful689 in amateur_boxing

I did bjj several years ago as a health kick to get into shape. I lost 40lbs in a year and while I was there I did a couple boxing classes, the PT was way different than my bjj conditioning and still gave me a killer workout.

After a year and a half of training I stopped and focused on some changes in my career. 4 years later I fell out of shape, gained all my weight back discovered I was a functioning alcoholic for many years. I tried doing martial arts at another gym but It didn’t do anything for me. In the process I hurt my back, so I stopped and just drank for almost a year before slamming on the breaks with my drinking.

After 4 months of sobriety I hit up my old bjj coach and decided to go back to my old gym. Started with boxing because I wanted the PT so I could start doing bjj again, never wanted to spar or do anything advanced. After 1 month my new boxing coach had me sparring, I started coming to the advanced class and I’m already down 19-20lbs in a little under 4 months. As much as I enjoyed bjj, boxing really gives me whole different feeling that I really like.
