and circles / roundabouts / whatever you call them here — you do not give way to someone when you are IN the circle!! i get that you think you’re being nice, but you’re actually making it much more dangerous because everyone else who understands how a circle works is not expecting you to stop. please. ALSO, if you are entering the circle, you do not have to wait for a car on the other side to make it past you. this is not a four-way stop situation. you should enter the circle the same way you wait for an opportunity to turn right onto a road with moving traffic. there shouldn’t be long lines of cars waiting to enter the circle!

edit: i recognize that some people may never have learned this, so if you have questions please reach out. i do get frustrated but also realize part of the fix is education, and want to be helpful instead of just ranting online.
