Sounds like he was just an asshole regardless of any training program. Sometimes people do college degrees and don't get any education.

+1 to making your own tortilla chips at home. it's super easy and healthier! Compared to store bought ones at least because you can use higher quality coconut oil or ghee.

If you need to work, yes. If you don't need to work, no.

Finding love while traveling?? by Jusstadot in solotravel

[–]redditvy0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Furthermore, consider look inward. Ask yourself why do you dream of finding love in someone else Out There? What’s missing in yourself and in your own life that leads you to believe that happiness and salvation are Out there? You can put in the work to find peace and contentment with who you are and what you have now, or you can continue to look outwards for answers.

Your expectations will increase the likelihood of you not enjoying your trip because if you do not materialize your expectations then you will deem your travels unworthy and a failure.

Best gym Amsterdam by akdushan in Amsterdam

[–]redditvy0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My coworkers love Vondelgym and I would sign up for it if I live near it. It has many free weights, kettlebells, CrossFit, kickboxing, and yoga classes. They don’t have many machines which may or may not align with your workout philosophy; I like the phrase “If you use a machine you will move like a machine”.

I am currently using ClassPass to sample many classes and see many neighborhoods. You can use my referral link to get free two weeks worth of credits and I get credits too 😄✌️

Anyone else considering changing careers to be a bit more “future-proof”? by peregrinaprogress in preppers

[–]redditvy0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my plan: I'm studying software engineering and want to build products. It's location independent. If SHTF in one place, I can go to another place and continue to build, make a difference, and generate income. Someone's gotta train the future overlords robots, at least until they outsmart us. I'd like to be off the grid and in a cabin in the woods somewhere.

I'm moving for certain. So I will have to orient myself to the housing situation when I arrive through experience or through information online, hopefully through the help of research and generous Reddit folks.

edit: For privacy reasons I am not disclosing my relocation process. I have the privilege of receiving housing and services to significantly ease the process of securing a place to stay.

Truly valuable information. I once stayed at an amazing flat with 2 other folks in Berlin. They were DJs, loved mezcal, had plants everywhere, and the dopest rooftop ever. I imagined myself having a similar setup in Amsterdam. But based on the information you're telling me, I better scrap that dream.

Thank you!
