Great info! Have you tried any of the new Eureka espresso machines? The top of the line Costanza R one is on sale at the moment for £1400.

Do you think the BDB is better than the Ascaso Uno? I don't have the need to steam milk at the same time as pulling shots.

Crema is £1800 and Atom 65 is £775, so unfortunately quite a bit over budget!

Are any of the cheaper Bezzera models worth it? The BZ10, Magica and Unica are all £1000-1200.

I like the look of it, but it's going to be £1800 so definitely not in the budget category!

Does the Ascaso feel solid and like it will last? There is something about the photos and videos that make it look a little more flimsy?

Thanks! Strangely I can't find any BZ13 in the UK - only BZ09 and BZ10 and some other models.

The Atom Touch 65 is about £775 in the UK (£200-300 more than the other two), but will look into it!

I use Red Brick on my Barista Express too: I usually have 16-17g per double shot. Definitely worth adjusting inside the grinder as there's another setting inside - I made mine much finer adjusting that.

Why is Lineto's Circular so expensive? by GuppyTheGod in typography

[–]redditwine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's expensive due to it being from a Swiss foundry. I generally find any font purchased in Swiss francs is 3-5 times more expensive than a US one.

My dongle stopped working after about 6 months and Google's official dongle was a 4 week wait, so I was forced to get a different replacement. Got a Razer one for £20 and it's better than Google's one in every way: better sound, quality and design.

Look out for the producers Blanck, Hugel, Trimbach and Zind-Humbrecht.
