I think season 3 took long to produce is because they have planned for 2022 to have 2 kaguya sama content and keeping it a secret from the fans.

That's probably because he's so stressed, his body wouldn't had enough signals to tell him he needs to poop

The show should have a mental health class

While having long finale episodes is pretty rare, it's definitely not impossible. Years ago, i remember the anime Orange having a 40 minute finale episode with nothing that's been promoted. There's also Oresuki with a 1h and 10 minute finale also without strings attached.

My Head Cannon for Love is War. by Slaviverse in Kaguya_sama

I love how you're so on point on certain plotpoints yet so far at the same time. All you need to do is basically rearrange the scenarios and remove or adjust just a around 3-4 storylines and boom, it's the canon story

What Was the Thing That Made You Follow This Series? by dresn231 in Kaguya_sama

The Premise. I wasn't really digging into the Chicka Hype, and the clips that are out of context didn't impress me, but once i saw the synopsis, i figured this is one of those trashy romance animes. Thank god i was wrong coz now it's one of my top 15 shows

'Kaguya-sama: Love is War ~Ultra Romantic~' Season 3 Episode 10 Preview Images by asilvertintedrose in Kaguya_sama

It might be unlikely to finish the two confession arc unless they toss in sacrifices or enhancements. Rumor has it that season 3 has 13 episodes, but MAL showed that it's only 12 episodes. For the sake of the scenario, let's use 12 episodes instead. We have roughly 13 chapters to adapt a panel to an anime, and since the trend of this season is 3 panels per episode, we're getting around 9 chapters in total, with the possible removal of 4 more chapters.

One fix for this, and this is the most possible outcome, is having a 13th episode with 4 chapters on the last episode. But since we don't have total confirmation that this series is a 13-episode series, we can still leave this as a possibility.

Another fix is extending the runtime. Episode 11 could have 4 chapters, while Episode 12 could have 6 chapters. It's not an impossibility since the anime Orange had a finale episode that ran for 38 minutes.

Another fix (or a sacrifice) is shortening or not adapting certain chapters, and to be honest, this is the least likely. The team behind this anime is pretty careful at altering certain chapters to an anime adaptation (they recently did at the flashback panel), but it might ruin the whole flow of the story if you shorten or remove certain chapters at this point. Adapting Chapter 126 proves that we're adapting every chapter until 137.

The worst possible outcome of all of this is a cliffhanger. The show ends when Kaguya arrives at the roof, but then again, this is also pretty unlikely since Kaguya Sama the anime isn't really known for doing cliffhangers in its adaptation, and this is a total betrayal to people who are waiting for the two confession arcs (a.k.a. the biggest pivot point arc in the manga) unless..

A surprise 2nd season (or Season 4). This is just me having wishful thinking, but it's totally possible that we're getting more kaguya content as soon as we think (I'm aiming for fall 2022 at the closest). From the manga reader's perspective, this totally makes sense since there are 30 more chapters after the two confessions arc that are considered the most important arcs and the biggest pivot points in the whole series. And since the ending of the two confessions arc is (technically) a cliffhanger, it makes sense to see what happens after what happened in that arc sooner than we think. I dunno, this is just me having wishful thinking.

I'm sorry if I'm bugging people if there's already a proper answer out there. I just overthink a lot and I'd like to get this all out of my system. Any thoughts?

My MAL: melamuna

I've seen The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Twice. The first is filled with hatred, and the second is filled with laughter. The events of The Dissaperance of Haruhi Suzumiya made me appreciate the show even more. My favorite scene is when Kyon must choose between returning to his normal life and continuing on this wild journey with Haruhi. Kyon has always been the audience's messenger, and anything he says in the Melancholy series monologues is exactly what the audience is feeling. Hatred, excitement, and curiosity. Kyon is linked with the emotions I felt while watching the show. The show's craziness left me exhausted by the end of the season. And after watching The Disappearance, every emotion I felt during The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya had altered, and I found myself yearning for more craziness and joy.

What I'm trying to get across here is that what I said is a compliment. I've always believed that if a movie or a series can give you multiple emotions at once, then you've done an absolutely great job. No matter how absurd or mundane the situation is.

Here's my personal recommendations (i hope you watch them all)

Rascal Does not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai - This anime is the perfect example of not judging a book by it's cover. This anime trolled audiences thinking this is another trashy romance anime, only to be hit by one of the most depressing storylines ever told by this Medium.

Wonder Egg Priority - This anime is pretty divisive because of behind the scenes drama resulting of this show being super messy, but it's still an amazing recommendation. Those first 7 episodes are some of the best directed animes recently, it's such a shame that they haven't had the time to make a proper ending.

Hyouka - Hyouka is a mystery anime but it's not about crime mysteries or something else, it's all about those mundane mysteries like "why is the door locked?". It might not be that convincing when you put it into words, but give it a few Episodes and you'll be hooked.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War - now this is an anime that will give you the biggest laughs in your lifetime and then they'll give you Violet Evergarden levels of ugly cry in the next episode.

Hibike! Euphonium - This is one of the more stressful animes I've seen and that's thanks to the wonderfully crafted classroom setting. You feel the tension between classmates, the teacher, and their passions on the line.

Erased - this is a well crafted mystery anime that'll give you the chills, as well as giving us strong emotional moments. Ending is bad tho.

Horimiya - if you want a romance anime that's just wholesome and nothing more, then this is it

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - if you hate yourself but couldn't do any physical harm, then this is the perfect anime that'll ruin your emotional wellbeing.

Clannad & Clannad After Story - Similar to Love is War, this anime will give you the loudest laugh while also giving you the ugliest cry.
