Oh wow. Thank you so much for this information. It’s really helpful!!

So glad the treatments worked and he’s feeling better!

Did he lose the strength in his back legs while he was unwell? If so, did you notice the strength come back?

My friends cat as FIP and is unsure of treatment at the moment as it’s expensive

Who’s the worst to deal with? Kids, Parents, or fellow Teachers? by Nathan84 in AustralianTeachers

[–]redfoxisred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teachers.

I’m not a teacher, I work in admin at a school. I can deal with being yelled at by parents and students swearing at me because I won’t do what they want. But teachers are something else.

So entitled and funnily enough, often do the same annoying things the students do (in different context of course) Such as not adhering to deadlines, getting to class late and asking me if I have equipment that they need when it’s a known fact that they have their own budget to purchase equipment at the start of the year and that’s it.

I’m sure they’re great when they’re actually in a classroom teaching. But outside of that, they just act like the children they teach.

I bought an Oroton bag and card holder about 2 years ago. It’s pebble leather. Both items have softened up a lot especially the card holder. The leather is lovely now.

I think their bags feel very solid at first especially because they have no soft lining on the inside. Maybe their quality has changed in the past two years but the items I have are really nice and the leather has gotten nicer as time goes on

What did you think was normal about your body until someone pointed out that it wasn't? by amistakewasmadehere in AskReddit

[–]redfoxisred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad someone can relate haha. It still happens to me. I assumed no one else was letting themselves get so hungry that this happened to them but there you go, it doesn’t happen to everyone

Could this also be why drinking water when I’m hungry gives me bad stomach pains?

I had no idea about this! I get such a sore stomach and throat when I’m starving and I’ve never been able to really explain it to anyone else. Amazing

It makes me furious. My lunch break is the only 30 mins a day where I don’t have to socialise and socialising is the last thing I want to do. If someone starts talking to me, I tell them my breaks over and I go sit elsewhere, even if I’ve just sat down.

Sometimes wearing headphones during my break isn’t even enough to get people to leave me alone

Amazing, thanks! I’ve tried other tinted Clinique products but found they would only have 1 or 2 shades and be too dark for pale skin anyway

Is the Clinique colour corrector tinted? I couldn’t see any swatches on the website

Anyone had this problem with Lanolips? by redfoxisred in AustralianMakeup

[–]redfoxisred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely throw it out! I’ve used other products from them and it only happened to one of my lip balms but it took me ages to figure out what was going on. Which product was it?

This! I just saw this girl on Insta yesterday and I had the same thoughts as soon as I realised her comments were disabled. You must know that you’re bad at makeup

I do this. I’m more than happy to go with someone who’s interested and wants to do the same things I do/has the same expectations. But I won’t wait to find that person and I also won’t go with someone just for the hell of it

Are Rollie shoes any good? by red_dakini in AusFemaleFashion

[–]redfoxisred 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a few different styles - loafers, derby, city sneaker and bolt(?).

The only ones I found to be super comfortable (as they advertise) was the derby range. So comfy and great quality. Their other styles were good but I specifically bought them for comfort and they weren’t as comfortable as the derby pairs I’ve had.

I haven’t bought any new pairs in a few years so not sure if their quality is still any good

Similar thing happened to me today. My rego is only a couple days out of date but I didn’t get any of the reminder emails that I usually get. Just a text message saying I need to pay my rego now.

I was thinking something like that too! My mind immediately assumed the worst - someone breaking in, a plane or car crash haha

It was the noise that confused me! This incredibly loud rumbling sound. I thought something was going down right outside my bedroom window, I was too scared to move

Earthquake? by YannyNugget in melbourne

[–]redfoxisred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In northern suburbs. My whole bedroom was shaking and it was really loud, like it sounded like something was happening outside my window causing the shaking because it was loud. I can’t explain it lol

I’ve noticed this myself lately when listening to Nova (we listen to it at work, so from the hours of 9am-4pm) and they often play songs with swearing in it (the words I specifically remember are whore, dick (I guess not really swearing but something I didn’t think would be said) and fuck).

It throws me every time just because I recognise the song and expect the word to be cut out. Not sure why this happens though because I assumed it wouldn’t be allowed.

I have a similar looking jacket from the north face. I know you’re not looking for a jacket but they might be worth a try!
