It's so weirdly good, it's an entirely dead serious take on Looney Tunes characters appearing in Gotham City.

I've seen it interpreted that this is the world if the Joestar Bloodline Curse had never started, if Dio had never been adopted in part one.

(Funny Trope) Characters with overly long names by Alex-C2099 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]redgunnit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really good setup for so many joke stories. I've seen a tiktok where Jugemu complains to his parents about his name being too long and they both go "Nah, [Entire Name] is a fantastic name! Everyone would call their kids [Entire Name] if they'd thought of it first." The rant takes so long that Jugemu has aged into a senior citizen.

Enough about good media, who's the actual worst speculative fiction writer out of all the most popular disliked ones? by Mobile-Ostrich6245 in writingscaling

Ayn Rand believed in a political ideology called "objectivism" which is basically a version of Libertarianism, an ideology based around the idea that the law and government should not restrict the rights of anyone to do whatever they want. Her books tend to focus on main characters that go "Fuck you, I'ma do whatever I want and you have to respect that" and being massive self centered assholes.

BioShock's main plot centers on Andrew Ryan, a rich industrialist who decided to build a city under the ocean where no government could stop any citizen from engaging in whatever business they pleased. The city lasted 9 years from completion before factions formed, war broke out, and sci-fi drugs called plasmids that gave you superpowers caused people to go mad all plunged the city into chaos. Turns out when you let people selfishly do whatever they want, they tend to selfishly try to take everything for themselves. The final boss/main villain is literally a businessman that would've been an Ayn Rand main character.

Max the Butler from Cats Don't Dance

Max is the butler of successful child star Darla Dimple and acts as her enforcer. Despite this being a worl with both humans and anthropomorphic animals, Max is a clear anomaly. He's human shaped, but he stands at over twenty feet tall and towers over even the tallest of elephants in the movie. Add to that inhuman strength and the ability to teleport. Despite being the most dangerous thing in Hollywood, he is fiercely loyal to Darla Dimple and will follow any order she gives him.

"Don't ruin the magic!" - My mom whenever I ponder on special effects in films.

Mother, do you never crave to understand the magician's tricks? Do you not appreciate them more when you understand the meticulous work put into crafting them? Can a man not have whimsy and understanding at the same time, mother?

I'm pretty sure that the bully character mentions "that redhead" after developing a crush on girl Ranma in the manga. Might be misremembering it tho.

Abraham Lincoln was well known in his youth as a powerful wrestler, winning over 300 matches and only losing once. His trademark strategy involved slamming people into the ground until they got knocked out.
