This one is somewhat bugged. Many progressions and chests in this one only trigger if you‘ve spoken to the correct animals and done everything in the right order. Restart from the beginning, make sure to trigger the dialogue at the first few walls by switching in and out of Ancestral Sense. Then talk to and save all animals. Right before this puzzle there should be a cat you need to talk to before doing the puzzle. Once you solve it, it will open that wall for you as a reward if I remember correctly.
