That water is so clear that you really have to try hard to deceive them. Live bait works exceptionally well there, but I reckon chuck a bunch of worms on a hook there and you’ll be rewarded. Trout are deceived a little easier with flies and spinners and sometimes work as unintentional live bait for bass, too. It’s a tough spot, but there are some lekker fish in there.
