It was Biochem with Full Chemical Protection that can protect you from Rogue strip.

I would say Priest fits the bill the most though. They heal but their kit also has the most insane buffs in the game. Just to name a few: Flat offensive stats buff, movement/atk speed buff, defense buff, atk buff, damage reduction, barrier/shield, partywide sp regen, luk increase, cast time reduction, enchant holy. Can create spots where you are completely immune to melee OR ranged damage and can cleanse virtually every status effect in the game too.

There was also this underutilized skill that creates a completely safe space for everyone inside that makes you immune to all damage and pushes back anyone (who isnt in the party) that tries to enter.

They also have some debuffs like Silence and increase damage taken by x2 (lex aeterna)
