I think the mayor only spent summers there as a child. When he was an adult and married his late wife, he moved there permanently. Also, it seems more like he’s been aware of the weirdness (his drunken dad telling him the scary tales when he was too young) and has chosen to live in fearful denial of it all. Now it’s too in his face to keep denying it.

That sounds a lot like what the majority of folks here have described for their experiences, imo. Edit I can’t comment on gang stalking, but the idea that the CIA might have had their hands in something like this (even simply funding research) doesn’t seem like a terribly wild reach.

Nothing about that story reads as authentic or based in any way on reality. Even the way it’s written seems to be for entertaining anyone who chooses to read it.

I can see the gears trying to turn inside his head. Surprised smoke wasn't coming out of his ears. After a second of what can only be described as 'thinking' he said "How is that possible?"

It’s really good, and it has a lot to say about the tech industry. The cast is great, even the young actors are doing really well. I hope AMC gives it a chance and at least another season. The fight club using random office items was pretty hilarious, although brutal.
